I can't stand Joe Cowley. But if he stands behind the stuff he's saying in this segment, the Bulls now concern me. Who knows. Anyone else listening? |

ripping on Rose Ripping on Joakim Both are trained specifically by Jen the Trainer Says the only two guys on the team putting in a full effort in practice are Gasol and Butler Says coach K got pissed at Rose during his time there due specifically to Jen the Trainer, had a Duke player as a source Says the original Bulls trainer left this last year because his legs were being cut out from under him. Lots of other stuff. |

Who's Jen the Trainer? Is "Trainer" a code word? |

Rose doesn't look right. At times, Joakim looks disinterested which isn't like him. I am attributing these lackluster games to Rose still getting his groove back and the grind of the regular season. But it's hard to believe a Thibs coached team is giving up 120 to a bad Magic team. |

it appears no one is listening... Jen is a trainer for the Bulls...she only works with Jo and Derrick. Joe finished up by saying that the Bulls may need to ship someone out...couldn't hear if it was Tom or Jo... |

That seems so strange compared to everything we have heard about Noah during his time here. |

You see it in Rose's comments in the papers. He is so flippant, "That's just Thibs." Rose could have owned this town, but the injuries and odd way with the media have hurt that potential. He is more Pippen than Jordan with the fans and media. |

Here's Jen the Trainer. I think spmack would, but I will let him confirm. http://www.nba.com/bulls/news/health-to ... anson.html |

so I assume KC Johnson has known about this for years and was just too afraid to break bad on the bulls to say anything.... he is almost at a ZZ level of bulls management stooge... except at least ZZ has a reason to not rip the team he covers ($$) whereas KC is employed by a different entity |

He is more Pippen than Jordan with the fans and media. He had zero interest in playing defense last night. And his shot is so far off mechanically too. His first 3 point attempt totally missed iron. |

I kept screaming, "stop shooting". Although I am always shocked when he hits those floaters. It's just that his jump shot is really bad. Gasol had no answers on defense either last night. |

The funny thing is, the guys who are complaining about Rose and Noah rationing their efforts are the same people who complained that you can't win a championship by giving a max effort in January and lauding Popovich for holding his entire starting five out of games. Maybe Jen the Trainer would be a fetishized coach if she insisted Rose and Noah sat out the way Pop does. Also, nobody complained about Tim Grover. |

I don't mind Joakim taking the rest of the regular season off. Just stop being on the fence about it. Sit if you're hurt, he's got a ton of mileage. Rose on the other hand does not have a ton of recent mileage and needs to play to get better. They'd better start sitting Gasol. Immediately. These minutes will not end well. |

If you are going to play, then try at least to act like you give a fuck about running an offense or playing defense. The Spurs play when they are on the court. |

I think people (including Rose himself) need to accept that he's never going to be the same player he was. His entire game was taking the ball to the rack with an unbelievable burst of speed. I can't see that coming back. The way he played was predicated on that step and he's lost a fraction of and that's just enough to make him the same as a lot of other guys he previously stood above. I still think he can be a poor man's Jason Kidd if he were willing to accept that. But instead he's chucking up terrible shots and refusing to defend. But as far as the health issues and playing time are concerned, I think Jen the Trainer was brought in-house to prevent Thibs from playing Rose 48 minutes a game. |
