Where are our manners? He's a good guy. He had the grace to hold himself, while those around him fell (Spiegel and Bernstein).

Good luck, snapper.

Bearown: Loneliness was tough. The toughest role Mannelly ever played. THE SCORE created a superstar. And pain was the price he paid

IkeSouth: What the Fuck?

Beardown: Even when Bernstein killed Mannelly, oh the press still hounded him. All the papers had to say, was that Patrick Mannelly was found in the nude.

Ike South: Once again, what the fuck?

Beardown: What do you want me to say? That's the truth.

Patrick is travelling tonight to Des Plaines
I can see the red tail lights heading for Sarah Spain
Oh and I can see Patrick waving goodbye
God it looks like Patrick, must be the clouds in my eyes

Patrick my brother you are thinner than me
Do you still feel the pain of the scars we can't see
Your thoughts have died but you see more than I
Patrick you're a star if not the face of the staaaattttiioonnnn...

Atta boy, Doc. See. This can be fun. Some people don't get it. I would be a great SNL writer.

Beardown: And it seems to me Patrick Mannelly lived his SCORE life like a candle in the wind. Never knowing who to cling to when transition ended.

Patrick Mannelly: I didn't. I really didn't. God!!! It was so fuckin' strange and awkward. Do I go to hug Spiegel after he runs out crying? Do I continue to talk to B&B? Fuck. These Score people are weirdos.

Beardown: And I would have liked to have known you, but I was just a CSFMB poster. Your candle burned out long before your legend ever did.

The guy will be back for Bears season just like he wants it, remember, he was the last second fill in....its kinda like how Dick Jauron got hired.

Snapper will have a good life of being a gameday analyst, have a show one night a week and then be a special guest for the other shows.

Maybe then do a live show at a bar. Much better then coming in daily and hearing the 'What should we do to be better "

Sung to the Tune of: Brandy (You're a Fine Girl) from Looking Glass...

Snapper (You're a Good Guy)

Work at The Score and you'll have to pay
Us sports fans tune in every day
Average meatballs try to have their say
And talk about their teams

And there's a guy that The Score has found
And he works tryin' to Bear Down
They say "Snapper, fetch another round"
He pays for lunch all the time

The listeners say "Snapper, you're a good guy" (you're a good guy)
"What a good host you would be" (such a good guy)
"If they only partnered you with that Daa-Maa-Nee"
(dooda-dit-dooda), (dit-dooda-dit-dooda-dit)

Snapper wears a jersey plain
Made of finest fabric from Halas & May
The colors that bears the name
Of the team that Snapper loves

Pat joined after Labor Day
Tellin' stuff from good old days
Bernstein made it clear he couldn't stay
The Score was not his home

The listeners said "Snapper, you're a good guy" (you're a good guy)
"What a good host you would be" (such a good guy)
"But The Score is scared of that guy named Dan Bernstein"
(dooda-dit-dooda), (dit-dooda-dit-dooda-dit)

Yeah, Snapper used to hear Dan's lies
When he told "his guy" stories
He could feel his blood pressure rise
Hearing Dan's BS story
But Dan had always got his way, he really is a bully
And Snapper wants to punch the little man
(dooda-dit-dooda), (dit-dooda-dit-dooda-dit)

At night when Pat winds down
He thinks of all that just went down
And loves a team he's not around
He still can hear them say

He hears them say "Snapper, you're a good guy" (you're a good guy)
"What a good host you would be" (such a good guy)
"But The Score is a miserable place to be"
(dooda-dit-dooda), (dit-dooda-dit-dooda-dit)

"Snapper, you're a good guy" (you're a good guy)
[FADE]

"What a good friend you would be" (such a good friend)
"But The Score is full of Dan Bernstein wannabes"
