Mannelly is thrilled.

Spiegel is a smarmy, condescending douche.

Rainbows are pretty.

I don't know and it wouldn't surprise me if they don't know. Spiegel will probably be off.

Grote's been MIA this week. Back in rehab? They are short staffed. And they don't have enough workers.

The Matt show

yeah, I think it's two Matts. They did put it through a dry run a while back. I really had heard that it would have been Mac and Matty middays until the negotiations fell apart again...

i think in the opening segment speigal managed to get in at least 3 times that they've "trounced" the competition in ratings 4 of 5 last weeks....

Paul Kornerko just retired. Doesn't that qualify him to now host a talk show in the third largest market in the country?

Not done retiring...have a few more retirement celebrations this year at Comiskular. Which if I was joking, wouldnt be as funny as reality.

Team em up.

Cowley lives in Minneapolis. So it'd be the 2nd coming off Seanie-Cakes Salisbury. Sun-Times apparently can't find a beat writer willing to live in the Chicago area.

That makes me puke. Five minutes of his voice and any time hearing/reading his thoughts, and suicide is recommended.

I'll give it 3 times of Spiegs saying "two Matts, one show" for me to PTFB on Monday.

Its not funny, and its not even close to reality.

His jersey #14 will be retired in May. That is only one, not "a few"

Have to admit , I thought about it, would be the worst story ever if true. Would feel really bad for the guy.

That's it. Then it's Rozner. If he's there all week and they're gonna announce it on Wednesday.

Then again, if it is him, and they already know it, why not just announce it on Monday?

Hmmmmm. Dammit!!!!! 50/50 now.

But if it was drinky, he'd be there on Wednesday. That's for sure. So he's out!!!!

It's virtually impossible to have his hours and not be an alcoholic.

Jesus Christ. Why does Grote get a pass? It's also virtually impossible for 9-5ers not to be alcoholics!!!!

I listened to the last 30 minutes today and heard both Meatpants and snapper taking some shots at Berns and his stupid sports thoughts.

How are they missing this angle- regular rotation!! Pat during football season, Pauley during baseball, get Roenick to swap weeks during hockey/basketball season with [insert former Bull here] . Kinda like extended stay guest, use Seacrest to fill in the blanks. Each guy gets his wheelhouse, plus that little bit of crossover, then bolts during the rest of the year when they are used to being off. Use the other station clowns to fill in for Grimace when he is entertaining his monthly visitor or appearing as the reincarnation of Mama Cass...

JR would be great, but he's not leaving his TV gig for The Score.
