What the hell is this numb-nuts doing back in Chicago on the Score in the midday slot? I know he's a token guy, when the other broadcasters and reporters are white, but he sucks. He has nothing intelligent or interesting to say ever and goes on and on rambling. Wow, they get rid of the guy who was probably the best on the score in McNeil and instead they have two lame asses running the midday show. |

Here's an example of how Goff cannot speak. Today he was talking about the Bulls and Mirotic and said the following phrase, "when Mirotic entered the NBA's consciousness." WTF is the NBA's consciousness?? Obviously he meant to say, "when Mirotic entered the league" or "when Mirotic entered the NBA". Goff cannot use lofty language, let alone put a coherent thought together. He does not belong on the radio period. |

No he didn't. There's a difference between merely appearing in a game and having the collective players of the league be aware of your strengths and weaknesses. Make your criticisms count. |

Who specifically are you talking about, Goff, and what does it mean anyway for a player to enter someone's consciousness? And why should I even effing care? Articulate better what you are trying to say instead of trying to sound smart when you're not. He sounds stupid like this all the time. It's almost like listening to Tom Thayer and his poor diction. |

Goff often steps in it when he tries to expand his vocabulary. I think he hears other people using words and tries to incorporate it into his speech. But he butchers the usage of the BIG WORDS that he has learned. That's one thing I'll say for drinky, he's very comfortable talking like a simpleton. Drinky: Thanks pal...HEY!!!! Beardown:

If the CIA really wanted to come up with a foolproof, infallible torture method, all they would need is a speaker and tape of Goff's broadcasts on the Score. Every terrorist would immediately capitulate. |

Admin/BF you can delete this thread. I have nothing personal against Goff. He's probably a good guy to be around. But I don't think he belongs as a main guy broadcaster on the Score as Danny Mac's replacement. I'm not going to savage the poor guy any more. It's hard enough doing that job with the pressure of pleasing everyone, as I know from once being a broadcaster myself. I just don't have to listen. |

What good is it going to do to beat up on the guy when he's trying to make a living like the rest of us? There's other people that deserve such treatment because they're bad people, but Goff is not one of them. If he fails, it's not going to be because of what I've written. |
