(fuck outta here, Beardown thread)

This is one of Jason's 'on the real' guys in his radio bag (or bag of radio men, or whatever he calls it), right?

Quote:
Even it were the case, Irving would still be out there. He has made it known that he's not missing this moment for the world. He's committed to the organization and his teammates.

He's not Pau Gasol.

He's Kyrie Irving, a player playing with so much heart and determination. His limbs would have to fall off to keep him from competition and he wouldn't have it any other way.

That cheap-shot at someone who you have no fucking clue how hurt he is (not to mention someone, unlike Kyrie Irving, who's won something in his life) is the realness.

You can't really compare the two injuries.

bumping to get ahead of beardown again, mostly, but I did listen to a bit of the first-two hours, and man: Goff's speaking crutches are really damned annoying. Makes the opinions come out even worse, like referencing Steph Curry's MVP season as 'cute'. What the hell?

And the clapping and table-pounding just sounds bad. Is he just over-caffeinated?

Maybe they're trying to convince the listeners (and themselves) that the show is a rollicking good time and more interesting that it actually is? Kind of like the forced, over-the-top laughter of guys like Mully, Hanley, and Laurence.

What? Goff pounds the table to emphasize points. He never did that with B&B. Where did he pick this up? Atlanta? C'mon, Goff. You're better than that. You can tell everybody Lebron James is good at basketball without pounding the table.

Brothers don't quote Secretaries of the Communist Party. We all know what those guys get up to when they think no one's watching.

So, we now have two shows on WSCR that spew forth the false narrative that the average basketball fan in Chicago hates Lebron James and doesn't believe he is any good at basketball.
