All this boils down to one thing...Danny is a bad dude. He is bad guy to hang out with, he's fake and an asshole. Works well with my Sox fan theory growing up in Deerfield. |

Dan has a face made for radio and knows that he'll likely never ascend to on-air talent. I'm sure when he was just starting out, he had much higher aspirations - maybe a career similar to Mike Greenberg or Costas. Whatever it was, I'll bet that it was more than doing afternoons on a sports radio talker. It drives him crazy that he's basically doing the same job as Mike North, Mike Murphy, etc. So who does he go after? The 'pretty' peeps that manage to get cushy TV gigs based almost exclusively on their looks like Cheryl Scott and Aiyana Cristal. Sure, he makes a ton of money (relatively speaking), but at the end of the day, he's a local C-level celebrity that thinks he deserves/deserved more and he's bitter as hell. |

How many people watch Good Morning America or Today type shows? I don't really think of Zee, Scott, or Cristal as above C level celebrities. They are all very replaceable too. |
