Hub could not understand why Theo and company would not go out and buy some free agents in the past years to win and make the games more watchable. To the point where he gave up his season tickets he had owned for years. Never understanding why Cubs brass did not want to win games so they could pick high enough in the draft to procure the players that he now is fawning over like a love-struck school girl.

Unless it is strictly a "I honestly just can't afford it", I will never understand why anyone would cancel season tickets to any team - period.

You love your team enough to get season tickets year after year (which is not easy and sometimes you have to wait years) and then you just give up?

I just don't get it.

Oh the irony of Goff's comment about not knowing what it takes to be fired from an on air media job.....

If he were talking to Bernsie he would have been told it doesn't matter he had season tix.

Didn't know he gave up his Cub tickets.
IIRC about a month ago on CSN show he said the Cubs were not a playoff team.
Kept saying he just didn't see it happening.
Call him Wrong Way Hub
