We learned that fact in the opening. We also learned, (how could I forget), that Goff does not trust "brothers" who lack facial hair. We then learned that Goff exempts Obama and LoHo from this policy. Should be a fantastic Chocolate Thunder show. |

Silvy and Waddle are on from 9:00 to noon on AM1000. Painting something and watching it dry is also a viable alternative to Black Giggles and a guy who apparently considers the amount of reading he got done to be the highlight of his honeymoon. |

Got my drive home from the gym dose of this...Leary says he had a few 'run ins" with Hawk over the past few weeks. So I kept listening...and the story went of track from step 1, about giving a pound, not giving a pound, people knowing leary, not knowing leary, what do you do if you miss the pound or dap, as J called it....so after all of that, I have no idea of what happened with Hawk. I got out of my car, I was amazed, how do you not self realize that you cant tell a simple story of runnng into someone because you are so self consumed about your view on people giving or taking a pound? or people knowing you.....and this is why he is doomed to the peak of his career filling in between evening sports events and filling the gap between afternoons and Les! |

I have it on but my attention to it has been weak. I thought I heard LoHo say Chicago is the biggest small town. As such, everyone here knows Derrick Rose or someone who knows Derrick Rose. Well, I have lived here my whole life, and I do not know Rose or anyone else who does. Maybe Schaumburg doesn't qualify as Chicago. |

You seem like a guy with a lot of solid connections. hell no. i've never gone to a "no gym shoes / no hats / dress to impress" club where is i reckon you'd encounter such people. i think laurence has got a brother named braxton who DJs around the city, and if he gets to do those bottle-service-caliber places i'm guessing that's prolly how he got to know someone who knows someone who knows d rose. though once on the green line i did encounter someone who said that they were officially in charge of getting rocks for george clinton and the parliament funkadelic when they were in town. evidently they either knew his/their manager or road/tour manager or something and supposedly whenever george and/or the p-funk could come to town they'd want about 20 rocks total, and then when they play their show and various musicians rotate on and off stage, the ones who go backstage for a song or two often make love to the pipe. i have no idea if the story was true, but it seemed kind of an oddly specific thing to make up for cred with someone who was also on the greenline looking to get the fuck out of "the neighborhood", you know? |
