I'm not usually in the car between 9 and 10, but since I was, I turned on these two.

I had no idea that Anthony Rizzo was one of the top five players in baseball. Click.

He's the 45th best hitter presently.

Can't wait to see how he does in the play off.

Leadership, intangibles and the fire and passion.

This is what it has come to.

Undoubtedly. When I read that thing big(Cub)fan wrote, I realized that Rizzo is the living embodiment of George Washington and Jesus Christ combined.

And the fact that DJ Lemahieu has more hits than Rizzo.

Awww. Cute. "Hits"

And yet Rizzo gets himself on first base more often, second base more often, and homers more often.

Seacrest...sort all Major League hitters by BA, in descending order. Is that the list of the best hitters as far as you know?

Now sort all Major League hitters by OPS, in descending order. Does it look a little better?

Having what will be the best year of his career, should be in the MVP picture.

Abreu is a great hitter for a fat guy that is always injured.

Trout is a beast that in 7 years the discussion will start about GOAT.

Similar Batters through 22

Mickey Mantle (941) *
Frank Robinson (935) *
Hank Aaron (923) *
Ken Griffey (922)
Miguel Cabrera (918)

But he's number 1 in the fire and passion department.

Oh, and he's the biggest "Bruh", so that makes him a leader too.

Funny thing, when another guy was the leader of a another team, he became known as "The Captain" as was celebrated for 1.5 years for doing so.

I am good with Ant'ony being the King Bruh leader of a team of really good young baseball players.

Sounds like some serious Jealousy is peaking around the corner?

No question it's jealousy. It takes a very determined human with incredible leadership qualities to do what Rizzo has done.

The guys kicks ass on the field and off.

This guy is a treasure and Theo/Jed deserve a ton of credit for chasing after this guy over and over.

How does one kick ass off the field and how does it compute in any type of metric?
