Tuned in about 9:50. There was a caller named Teresa who was not a big fan of Avisail Garcia. Goff was condescending as hell to her and, of course, implied she was a racist and asked which other players she did or didn't like assuming she would only name players of one race. Then they played "Ain't that a kick in the head." I don't know what she said before I tuned in, but Goff was dismissively saying "Uh-huh, OK, uh-huh. This is what you're mad about?" It's OK if these two get annoyed by trivial things and complain about them on the air, but callers must have SERIOUS. BASEBALL. THOUGHTS. |

It was funny and weird at the same time. She didn't like his at bat with an untucked uniform. |

Disrespecting female callers is just a symptom of our modern rape culture. Goff clearly only views female callers as his personal playground. Not a good look for the Score. Particularly on this, the holiest of months. |

Female callers confuse his go-to "you're the same guy..." argument tactic after the caller hangs up. It disrupts his flow. |

Hawk and Stoney were talking about broadcasting for a team that loses a lot of games. Stoney said it was very hard on the play by play guy, while Hawk was saying it was much tougher on the analyst. The entire conversation made it sound like Hawk was retiring, and I wondered what spurred the conversation. It was during the 9th inning of yesterday's game. I turned the channel on turning the middle of the conversation, so I don't know why they started down that road. |
