I'll defend Goff on this one. It was Goff that used to interrupt the update guy when he produced B&B. Same with the press confrences. So it was his thing too. He's not stealing it. He just brings it over to his new show.

It being funny or not is another thing. Sometimes it is, sometimes annoying.

You know it's a dopey thread when Beardown ends up being the voice of reason in it.

Whether or not the inspiration to do so can be further attributed back to Fred Norris is another discussion that nobody needs to have, thank you.

I've never heard any of the shows mess with Julie during her updates.

The though that Goff used to do it did occur to me after I went back to work. It was kinda funny like ten years ago, not so much anymore.

DiCaro needs to join a bunch of Toastmaster's groups. I have never heard her get through an update cleanly. They don't mess with her updates as they realize she'll end up stammering and shit for five minutes.

Two reasons:

1. they want to spend as little time with her as possible.
2. They don't want to end up in HR.
