But the parent does. I think "Salsa King Elsworth" is actually kind of cute. Unfortunately, it does have the potential to head towards the old 1960s Frito Bandito. |

But, my dad was visibly disappointed when I told him that I didn't consider passing down our first name to another generation. I've actually disliked the name for as long as I can remember. Unfortunately the only other "names" I've answered to are derivations/alternatives I like even less. And only a dick would give himself a new name. |

My name has been the source of embarrassment for a long time. Most people get it wrong and I've never found a good way of saying how to pronounce it when people get it wrong. It causes stress in any waiting room the longer the wait the more it builds. Inevitably my incorrect name is yelled for all to hear. I then awkwardly stand up knowing I'll look like as ass if I announce my correct name to the room, so I sadly begin my own little walk of shame dying a little inside knowing all the people in the room think my name that isn't my name is dumb. Some people laugh. When I introduce myself sometimes I get that puzzled look, that one that says what? I don't get it, what was wrong with your parents? For a brief stretch in high school I gave myself a normal name til I realized my parents were telling gentleman callers that no Kelly lived there and they had the wrong number. |

There is a street that runs for about half a block near Argyle and Oak Park called Busse. |
