Tiger is definitely the favorite, but 7-5 odds are not worth it. Here are the plays that I made:

Good price for Jose Maria Ilostmyball. He has won twice and finished near the top on many other occasions. Augusta is a nice course for his game.

chus, you might also want to look at Weir. He has won and plays well almost every year. I don't know what value he has though.

Goosen at 25-1 is crazy good money.

Tiger to win Masters
7-5 odds on Tiger before the tourney may not be worth it, but those odds on him at this time on Saturday look appealing. He is on the back nine Saturday in 2nd place, 2 shots out. The 15 guys that were ahead of him this morning have fallen back. Appleby is feeling the heat. You can buy this at WSEX on live betting. The price fluctuates after each shot. Like it at +138.

One bogey on 17 later, he's at +177. Two bogeys later, he's +208 at the end of his round. Buying more at that price. If he makes any kind of move on Sunday, the odds will drop quickly. This is a live options exchange and you can buy/sell any time.

And then, two hours later after Appleby and the other leaders took the gas pipe, Tiger is now one shot out of the lead and is sitting at -127 ($56 to win $100). Thus shows the short-term potential of in-game betting. Had you bought shares of Tiger at $34 each (to win $100) (=+208) right after he finished his round, you could now sell those shares for $53. That's a nice 56% return in about an hour without Tiger even making a swing.

Reason, I don't know how liquid the markets are in terms of how much money is in play, but it is liquid enough in that I have no problem buying and selling quickly. I know a few guys who make max limit bets (10k) and they haven't had trouble getting into and out of their positions. But I do suspect that large buy/sell orders do move the price. There have been a few times when a price changed slightly just in the few seconds it took for me to enter a buy/sell. In hoops, it happens real fast as the price changes with every shot or turnover. I can tell you there is a lot of buying and selling of Tiger in this tourney. His prices are moving very fast and not always in one direction. The other players clearly have less demand as their prices have been consistently lower than Tiger's and don't move as much after a great shot, a bad shot, a birdie or a bogey, as Tiger's do. And even when guys were a few shots ahead of Tiger, their prices were considerably lower than TW's. So if you had a longshot you liked, there likely would be value in it.

Thanks Coast, my only concern was getting in and out. It sounds like that shouldn't be a problem. I like the idea of being able to trade them like I trade stocks. I believe I will be opening up an account. It sounds very interesting. Thanks again.

Why the hell didn't I take my own advice and put some money on it?

It was especially good to buy him at that price even as late as this morning when he was 2 under for the day ($4 to return 100) and then sell him at almost 1-1 (49 to return to 100) when he got into the lead an hour later.

Today was a great day for live betting/trading as there was a lot of movement early with Woods and Goosen and then late movement with Johnson. Woods price got as high as 62 (where I dumped most of my position at 55-57) and Goosen hit a 49 sell price. You could buy Zach Johnson as low as $3(33-1) midway through his round today and then cash that ticket for $100. The whole trick in live betting is to buy low and sell your positions (hopefully for a profit) before the event is decided. Once a winner is nearly decided, the positions on the losing guys drop quickly toward zero.
