This guy makes it sound as though this lady lost $1 billion after she had been up $1 billion, which is almost certainly not the case. When I sit at a blackjack table for 6 hours, and break even (win $100, lose $100, lose $100, win $100, etc.), I suppose this guy would say I "lost" several hundred thousands of dollars. Even if I came out ahead, I guess he could technically say I lost money.
