I can't see him beating Chrome.

Shorter race this time around than in the Pacific Classic, 9 furlongs.

Want to see who's riding Dortmund. If it's Smith, Geroux or Stevens, I'd seriously consider taking a shot on him.

TVG.com offering 5-1 odds on Chrome for 1st time users and a $100 sign up bonus. exactly the same deal i took back in may for the preakness when they offered 5-1 odds for nyquist.

how does TVG work? I don't do online betting. You put a deposit down with your credit card I assume. How do you get paid? I assume you can keep an account open and use it to make additional bets but what if you hit a huge bet and actually want the money...will you get paid?

you will get paid. i've been a member since joining in may.

the easiest way to do it is to use a checking account. i don't use a credit card for it.

so, with the promotion that's going on now: deposit $100. make sure you wager that $100 by the deadline posted on the website (they usually give you a good amount of time), and you should get a $100 deposit dumped into your account. also, on the day of the race, if you wager on California Chrome, you'll get 5-1 odds guaranteed.

the offer ends at the end of 10/1.

the way you withdraw is...you have to wait until the ACH clears from your bank. so you might see initially that you have money in TVG, but you can't withdraw any of it. Once the money clears, it's yours to do whatever you want with. I just call it the "bank". When you have money to withdraw, just put the amount in...it took me about 3 business days to get my money. It takes between 24-48 hours for a deposit to go in.

you get about 10-11 hours of free streaming for races per month. this works extremely well for international races since you can listen to commentary. there are also some websites i go to for some supplemental help. the picks they come up with are sometimes actually decent.

you have access to a ton of races. so buckle up.

What's the max bet on Chrome at 5/1?

Who am I to question Baffert, but he has a Peruvian jockey in Rafael Bejarano riding Dortmund who hasn't won anything since 2013.

Sorry, I don't know much about this guy, but his name doesn't instill a lot of confidence given who he's going against.

Maybe the Wikipedia page on him is not updated. But it doesn't show any major racing wins since 2013. That's what I was going off of.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rafael_Bejarano

I should have looked for a better source before opening my mouth.

Rube here's his Graded Stakes win since 2013. Quite the list. He's taken all of Martin Garcia's Bob Baffert mounts since Garcia and Baffert have fallen out.

Maybe its for the best. Indiana is one of the states that doesn't allow you to sign up for TVG.
