Looks like it will be wet and muddy in Wembley, UNDER 46 is still out there if you want to play a bad field under...

LONDON, England -- Generally, we leave fantasy football advice to our other experts, but this information may be crucial and go beyond just the fantasy aspect.

I just came back from a morning run (happily wearing my Penn State sweatshirt) and got soaked. It's raining pretty steadily out there. Local television said it rained through much of the night and is expected to continue just about all day.

The bottom line is Wembley Stadium probably will be a mud bowl, much like it was for last year's game between the Dolphins and Giants. If you have Saints or Chargers on your fantasy teams, you might want to take a second look at your starting lineup because it's going to be tough for these guys to put up big numbers today.

From a gambler living in London...
I'm about 5 miles from there. It's grey, wet, and cold. The wind isn't currently blowing but it will definitely not get any better through the evening. It will stay wet and may start blowing. If I had to guess, I'd assume that the field will end up just as bad as last year as they have almost certainly done nothing special with the field.

Washington -0.5 (1st quarter)

The Lions haven't scored a point in the first quarter this season.

Over 41 Nyg/Pitt

Both teams have gone over in 4 of 6 this year. Pitt gone over in both their home games.

Over 45 Cin/Hou

Houston O at home has been excellent. I think Houston can come close to this total by themself.

Titans -4 vs Colts from pinnacle sports- I just think the Titans play their game of great defense and run the ball and win by about 27-10.

I tried this early on, but England revolted. The only thing worse than the farking English is the citizens of Rockford.

Tenn -4 over Indy

Tenn has allowed 17pts once, next highest pts allowed 12. Indy O stuggling. Tenn should be able to move the ball enough to win this one by 10+.

6 pt. teaser: Colts +10/ Under 47
Like Chus, I'm also playing a 6 point teaser with the Colts tonight, but going under instead of over.

That leaves a lot of room for both of us to cash.

Early pick for week 9:
Dallas +9 @ NY Giants (Greek)
The Giants are the highest rated team on my board, but the Cowboys were just a few weeks ago. The question is how much is Romo worth? Let's look at a few comparisons. If you say Romo is worth 3 points, as I do, then these teams are 3 or 3.5 points different on a neutral field and this line should be 6 or 6.5. Let's look at this another way. The line the last time they played at NY, late last year, the Cowboys won and covered as 3.5 point road chalk. So are you telling me these teams are 12.5 points different than their power ratings from last year? Two things happened yesterday: 1) The Dallas defense rose to the occasion and held the Bucs offense to 9 points and pretty much shut them down after the first quarter. 2) The Giants played a very physical game with the Stillers and even though this is a huge rivalry game, physical effort sometimes just can't reach peak levels the week after a physical duel. This line reflects an expected public perception of over-reaction to Romo's injury and the Boys' recent losses. Giants may cover, but even so, this is the kind of line value bet I will make 100 times out of 100.

It was a darn fine week...8-1...for +EV teasers..that is, teasing dogs or favorites 6 points across key numbers 3,4,6 and 7. I had a few of these teased together nicely. It's a great way to play the NFL now that the lines have settled in and it sure was profitable this week.

Baltimore -9 to -3 W
Tampa +1.5 to +7.5 W
New England -7 to -1 W
Washington -7 to -1 W
NY Giants +2.5 to +8.5 W
New Orleans +3 to +9 W
Miami +1 to +7 W
Philly -9 to -3 W
Jacksonville -7 to -1 L

Good possibility that is Romo and Witten, Coast. Normally the loss of a TE means nothing. That is not the case here.
