Week 12 Part II Top 25 After Dark

Mississippi State @ Alabama -21

The Tide have lost to the Bulldogs in each of the past two seasons and have not scored an offensive TD in these teams' past three games. Look for Bama to get 30+ and MSU wiil struggle to get double digits. The total is 41.

USC @ Stanford +24

The Cardinal, one victory shy of becoming bowl eligible for the first time since 2001, have won all four of their home games this season after losing 14 of 16. Both teams run well and home team can stay within 20.

Utah -30 @ San Diego State

San Diego State having the second-worst run defense in the FBS (273.9). Utah is averaging 171.0 rushing yards. Utah can clinch at least a share of the Mountain West crown with a win at San Diego State. SDSU gets to keep the nice weather.

Boise State -36 @ Idaho

Boise State's offense, averaging 442.0 yards per game, will be facing an Idaho defense that's allowing conference highs of 478.3 yards and 41.9 points a contest. Idaho scores 20 a game, Broncos gets fiddy plus!

Missouri @ Iowa State +26

Iowa State ranks 115th out of 119 FBS schools in pass defense (271.3) and has allowed 25 touchdown passes, more than any other BCS school. Chase and friends won't have as much fun in the cold weather.

Oklahoma State -17 1/2 @ Colorado

The Buffs have won four of the past six meetings with OSU, but the teams haven't met since 2005. OSU gets weel against a bad Coloardo team that can't score.

Boston College +6 @ Florida State

The 20th-ranked Seminoles look to keep pace in the Atlantic Division when they host Boston College on Saturday without five of their wide receivers. Florida State is the second ranked opponent Boston College will face this season. The Eagles beat then-No. 17 Virginia Tech 28-23 on Oct. 18 for their seventh win in nine games against Top 25 opponents.

Troy @ LSU -16

Troy is 1-14 against ranked opponents since joining Division I-A in 2001. The lone victory came at home over then-No. 19 Missouri on Sept. 9, 2004. The Trojans have dropped seven straight such games since then. LSU is trying to avoid its first consecutive losses since it dropped the final game of its 2002 regular season, then fell to Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

Tulsa -3 1/2 at Houston

Houston's 41-24 win over then-No. 23 East Carolina on Sept. 27 snapped an 18-game losing streak against ranked opponents, dating to 1996. Look for Tulsa to bounce back in their own weight class and slap around the Cougars. The total is 80!

Over 51 Den/Atl

Atlanta has reached the 30's in 3 of their 4 home games. Denver D is bad, Denver O is good. Winning team in the 30's.

Jaguars +1 vs Titans- Titans coming off a hard fought victory, but the Jaguars are fighting for their season, so I will take the Jags.

Saints and Chiefs over 50.5-Larry Johnson back for the Chiefs and Drew against the Chiefs, a lot of points scored here.

Broncos and Falcons over 50.5- Broncos will score, and the Falcons put up a lot of points at home.

Cardinals -3 vs Seahawks- Hasselback may be back, but the Cardinals come in and put the nail in the coffin on the division.

Green Bay -3.5 over Bears

Bears win and they go to 6-4 and Pack 4-6. I just don't see that happening. Pack the more desperate team at home.4 of the 5 in the Sun-Times today pick the Bears SU. I bought it down to 3.

Over 38.5 Min/Tb

Minny D not as good on the road. Both teams should reach the low 20's so over it is.

From The Greek

Falcons -7 vs Broncos

Too much Matt Ryan and Michael Turner.

Dolphins -10 vs Raiders

Will Oakland even get in double digits?

Giants -7 vs Ravens

Giants defense is too much for Flacco.

Texans +9 @ Colts

Texans offense finds a way to stay in this one.

Jags/Titans U 40

Feels like a 20-17 kind of game.

Bears +3 1/2 @ Packers

Lovie's record at Lambeau stays intact.

Bears/Packers O 43

Two defenses not playing well might mean a shootout.

Bengals +9 vs Eagles

Surprising game of the week as Eagles struggle in Cincy.

Chiefs +5 1/2 vs Saints

Chiefs put Saints in huge playoff trouble by pulling off the upset.

Panthers/Lions O 40

Panthers could score 40 on their own.

Vikings +5 1/2 @ Tampa

Peterson saves the day with another late touchdown for the Vikings.

Rams +7 @ 49ers

Two bad teams, taking the points.

Cardinals -3 @ Seahawks

2nd worse pass defense can't hang with the Cardinals attack.

Chargers/Steelers O 41 1/2

Can Pittsburgh's defense keep playing strong? Tough test against LT and Rivers.

Cowboys/Redskins U 42 1/2

No Portis and banged up Romo could mean for a slugfest against these rivals.

The books are begging you to take the Cardinals.

Seattle +3 over Arizona

Arizona coming off their big Monday Niter. Now they are a road fav and they haven't won in Seattle in a few years.

StLouis +7 over San Fran

San Fran favored? I will take the pts.

Over 42 Sd/Pit

Pitt has gone over in 5 of their last 6.

Under 43.5 Dal/Was

I think both D's play tough and keep it under. Hopefully a better rivalry game than the one played at Lambeau today.

Browns +5 vs Bills- The Bills on a losing streak, and I think a loss here for the Browns would end if any hopes for the season.

Very interesting game.

Anyone have a weather update for tonight's game? I was hearing earlier that there could be snow in the forecast.

On MNF, the trend has been the team that covers, has been winning SU as well.

Quinn played well against Denver, but this could be a tough spot - on the road, possibly bad weather, and a MNF game. Did Cleveland hit the bottom after losing to Denver, and, since then, Jamal Lewis saying the team quit?

Cleveland defense may be the cure the Buffalo offense needs...they will have to control the clock because of all the injuries they have on defense.

My lean is to Buffalo -5, but this weather situation will be interesting.
