College hoops season is here. I'm going to start a weekly college hoops thread and will post all my plays in weekly threads. Plays will be up to 5 units. 1 unit = 1% of bankroll.

Pitt -11 vs. Rhode Island, 1/2 u
Pitt-Rhode Island OVER 136, 1 u

Pitt looks like it's going to play faster and shoot more threes this year (they were 9/17 from trey in their exhibition game). Both teams have had some injuries in the preseason. Even though Rhodie might be down a bit here in game 1 with their center Martell perhaps seeing action after a 10 day ankle injury, they look like they are going to play fast as they usually do. The big question for me is will they shoot well enough to get to 60 points. If Pitt gets up comfortably, as I expect, then I don't expect the pace to slow down any. I make this line 15, so it's not technically a power play, but I make that number based on Martell being at full strength. So while I won't call it a power ratings play, I think there is value in the number.
