I don't feel bad about taking West Coast. He was the classiest horse in the field, and was Eddie O's pick. Looked like he got burned out by the quick pace.

Axelrod placed a respectable 9th compared to his live odds ranking of 13th at post-time, but I expected him to do better.

I had Accelerate to win, too, and in an exacta box with West Coast and Mind Your Biscuits.

The program did well, having the top 3 finishers in its top five, including Gunnevera and Thundersnow. Prime Power only had Accelerate right in its top five. Prime Power had McKinzie and Catholic Boy in there, but they finished near last.
