That was a weird interview. The mayor pretty much said nothing ("we haven't heard that the Bears are interested, but we haven't heard that they're NOT interested", lol) and then it got good when Parkins seemed to get a little frustrated that the mayor said that the fact one of the McCaskeys owned a bar in Arlington Heights might give them the edge.

Mayor Hayes: We have a long connection with the McCaskey family...Kevin McCaskey owns the Arlington Ale house.
Parkins: Are you saying Kevin McCaskey wants the Bears to move from Soldier Field to Arlington Heights?
Hayes: Kevin is committed to our community and I think he would want to make sure Arlington Heights is given full consideration in the Bears decision.
Spiegel (after they said goodbye to Hayes): The first thing that pops up when I Google "Arlington Ale House" is a story about Mayor Tom Hayes pulling their liquor license in 2020 for serving underaged customers.

The Bears are interested, but I highly doubt that they will end up with the land though.

I went this past Thursday and Friday. Some fam Thursday and friends the next. I don't remember paying $9 for a beer, even a couple years ago. I missed no live band or food grilling outside. It wasn't the same but still was a good time. There were a fair share of dabs on Friday so that was fun.

I went last Friday. Even though you had to reserve something they let you roam about at will. Beers were expensive but not much more than they were two years ago.

Looks like Trackside will be closing when the AP meet ends. This is probably as coldblooded as a termination letter can get. Go CDI! Go Bill Carstanjen! Go shareholders!
