This race has the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

The Good:

Gold Rush Dancer 8/1
Free Rose 6/1
Ralis 8/1
Mr. Roary 30/1

Like Free Rose to win. Has a good WP to back up his 6/1, but Gold Rush Dancer's is slightly higher.

Mr. Roary has the potential from a class standpoint and is proven at the distance but is inconsistent. But look at that price.

Lucky Bryan added 1/16th does the trick

Gold Rush Dancer is the obvious thing in here. I'm thinking of taking a shot with Ralis who should be more than a fair price.

There's no way Gold Rush Dancer is going to be 8/1 in there. I don't know who the monkey who makes that morning line is. Ralis is probably going to be double digit odds.

TVG has Ralis in its circle...

1 - #2 Blackjackcat 8-1
2 - #6 Curlin Rules 15-1
3 - #13 Ralis 8-1

equibase points to trainer/jockey win stats for Ralis, likes the distance for Curlin and Blackjackcat.

might have to check this one out...it's intriguing.

I think Monster Bea takes this one. I changed it from Free Rose after seeing the tape.

8 to win

8, 11, 1 exacta and tri-fecta box.

I passed on this one today.

I'm looking at the Smarty Jones tomorrow. A good line-up in that one with no clear favorites.

I'm shocked they let Gold Rush Dancer off so high. Blackjackcat way over bet. Tough beat with Ralis.

i watched but didn't bet. saw a horse i liked from previous races that did me good, and completely bottomed out yesterday at del mar so i didn't want to take another chance. lost a decent chunk on him.

but boy, i guess taking a chance on DR's original pick with free rose would've been a nice one.

made up some ground with the aussie races tonight. sometimes listening to the commentary gives you some insight into a pick. and gotta love those accents.
