Well I have to go with a $5 pick 3 9th race

9th Mind Your Biscuits speed backs up to this closer with a rush
10th Song Bird flies//keep an eye on Cathryn Sophia (horses for courses)
11th Exaggerator throw out his NY races and he figures here....Cupid has been good since the rider switch...don't think he can get the !-1/8 Good Luck

Had Gunny to Place, whew!!

But wanted Awesome Slew or Hit It Once More to win. They were on the lead but came up a little short.

The takeout at Parx is criminal. The price of playing is too damn high. That's how you end up with a 1/5 and a 5/2 in the same race.

By the far turn I thought I was in good shape with Awesome Slew, who was still leading. I had bet him across at a nice price of 23-1, and then he just couldn't hang on.

I had a home run in Hit it Once more at 40-1, if it had just hit the board. He was 3rd or 4th at 1/2 mi. Disappointing because in his previous races he had shown good late speed, but not today.

You have to be weeping if you took Nyquist or Exaggerator. Give me a break with Nyquist at 1/1. Way too rich for what the horse had performed recently. I didn't think Cupid had it either. But Connect was one I overlooked. I think he had the fastest time in 1 1/8 mi of any of the horses when he beat Gift Box. But his last outing put me off. I should have been more aware, when his odds dropped to 10-1 from the M/L of 12-1.

Good for you Chad Brown.
