Santa Anita again I'm trying to find past BC Charts that should where the winners last raced!?! I'd wger that 95% of the winners last races were at Santa Anita.....I hate where turf races go across the dirt! |

The Breeder's Cup site had links to the PPs yesterday before the draw but it looks like they've removed them. I can't see California Chrome getting beaten in that field. I like Beholder at a decent price and Songbird off the board. The Dirt Mile is an interesting race. |

The more I look at the Distaff, the more I like Curalina to pull a big upset. Who do you like, boys? |

Thanks A.R. I'm going with the local horse in the Juvie Turf...the 9 Wellabled. He will definitely get to the front, just a matter of who can catch him. Questions will be that he's never ran more than 7f, and who has he faced? But I like fact that Rivelli is sticking with E.T. Baird instead of trying to go with one of the more popular jockeys. |

I've always loved E.T. on the front end. He can get a horse to relax and then go on like few others. |

just a gut feel, watch out for Bowies Hero in the juvie. #10 horse. pretty good equibase numbers but nothing else to back it up. in R7, keep an eye on #4 Point Piper, who has high speed figures. good money odds. 20-1. R8, #1 Hydrangea (6-1) and #9 Cavale Doree (15-1) both have good figures as well. R9, i can't see anybody beating #1 Songbird. shitfest for punters. |

I think Point Piper is certainly capable of upsetting that field at a mile. And I'll be shocked if Songbird wins that race. |

Her last race was pretty huge, I'll grant you that. But Beholder, Curalina, and Stellar Wind aren't Cathryn Sophia and Carina Mia. The race figures to set up well for Point Piper (and Gun Runner). Runhappy is going to be cranking on the lead and Dortmund figures to be breathing down his neck. |

Haven't had time to study due to an annoyance called work but went with 6 WPS in R6. Hopefully will get home in time to look some more. |

Fucking Tamarkuz. I thought I was home there. He put away Dortmund like a fuckin' boss. The boy moved him too soon maybe, but Tamarkuz was large. |

I feel the same way but if I had to pick one track and one track only it would be Santa Anita. R9 yesterday I Maddoned myself out of the exacta by going 3,5/1,3,5,8 |

Metaboss broke down in training the other day. He's out. I think Highland Reel is gonna be tough to beat in there. Maybe Da Big Hoss has a chance at a big price. I like Limousine Liberal in the Sprint. I think Frosted is the only horse that has a realistic shot at Chrome, but maybe if there's a complete pace meltdown Hoppertunity or Keen Ice could pick up the pieces. Zoot Suit in the first at Gulfstream West. |

The only winner I had today was Highland Reel. $9.60 felt like stealing especially when he came off the last corner ten to the good. I'm kicking myself in the ass over Tourist. I was very close to betting him at that price, but I just thought the European milers were superior to the American horses with the possible exception of Tepin, so I went with Alice Springs who I thought was good value in there at 4/1. |
