I found a few lines that I think are absolutely incorrect. Just from a quick eyeballing:

Marquette +1 against Michigan State

There is absolutely no reason in the world for Marquette to be a dog in this game. Marquette had a decent Big East Tourney and that was without Mc Neal. I believe he will be back. MSU is one of the many in the jumble of mediocrity below OSU and Wisc in the Big Ten. I would not be shocked to see Marquette win by double digits but they willl win. JUMP on this line if you can get it now.

BC -2.5
BYU +1.5
Louisville -5.5
SIU -7

Villanova +1 against Kentucky

Another incorrect line to jump on. These lines are giving to much credit to traditional powers who barely made this dance. Look at Kentucky closely. They really were not very good. Nova is a tough team with senior leadership in both the front and back court. They may have a little trouble with Morris, but I don't think it is anything they cannot overcome. Nova should be the favored team.

Creighton +1

Another team with senior leaders throughout. They hit there stride at the end of the season as well. Creighton will make some noise in this tournament.

Weber State +19.5
They can shoot well enough to hang around.

Wisconsin/ Tex A M CC under 131
Bucky can't score and will dictate pace.

I will have several plays, but I'm buying these two early as I expect them to be a point more expensive by game time.

VCU +7 vs. Duke
I've been fading the over-priced Dukies in spots all year. This looks like another good spot. Even with all the McDonald's All-Americans on the Duke roster, VCU's guard Mayner is the best player on the floor.

Georgetown-16 vs. Belmont
Though I will be taking points in most games, I can still be a donkey at times. I know this is as square as they come, but I think the mismatch -- particularly inside -- is much greater than this line. While Kevin Durant is the player of the year in college hoops, Jeff Green is in the team photo. He's probably a top 5 lottery pick now and maybe top 3 (behind Oden and Durant) by the end of this tourney after he leads the Hoyas into the Final Four.

Fellas -
Love the good thoughts.
I've "lost" my website for wagering. It was nine.com. I know a few have lost as well. Any suggestions, outside of gettin on a plane to Las Vegas? The big issue is deposits/withdrawls. So can you help a fella out.
If you have a "local" I'm ok with that too.

Coast - I used to subscribe to ya - miss the insight.

Hey guys. Bruce Perl said to take the over in his Tennessee vs Long Beach St. game on the Jim Rome radio show today. I know no bet is a lock but my god I've never heard a coach suggest a play on any game let alone his own. I'm gonna play it. Rome said it is 167.

How do you deposit money on these sites ?

Author:  Chus [ Tue Mar 13, 2007 7:59 am ]

you can deposit straight from a credit card at some of the sites. Others, you have to create an account at epassporte.com or ewalletexpress.com. Each site will tell you which methods are accepted. I have seen on another board that bookmaker has a promo code: BINGO. I don't know if it works or not.

Here is what my card looks like so far:

Niagara -8.5 over Florida A & M ( play in game on Tuesday )
North Texas +18
Oral Roberts +7
Virginia Commonwealth +7
Virginia Tech -2
Weber State +20
Villanova pk
Davidson +8
Old Dominion +1
Wisconsin vs. Texas A&M Corpus Christi under 131.5
Vanderbilt -3
Louisville -5
Louisville vs. Stanford over 126.5
Long Beach State +7
New Mexico State vs. Texas over 153
Georgetown -16
North Carolina -26

I bought the hook on a couple of those lines. To me, there is nothing more frustrating than losing by 1/2 a point. Especially this time of year, when the lines are particularly sharp.

Let's keep NIT seperate as the game days are different and your thoughts might not be viewed by someone needing help.

And apparently it went up to 170 almost immediately. I agree this is a game in which one or both teams could get to 100.

Official pick #1:

Niagra -8.5 against Florida A and M

Niagra is better than this slot, while A and M is the worst team in the tourney.

Down by 11 with 6 seconds left, A&M hits a 3 to cut it to 8. I always buy the hook, but for some reason I didn't tonight, and it cost me.

I got it at 9 anyway. There are certain teams where you know in advance there will be guys looking to pad statistics with meaningless shots. That one was a tough one to take.

I also warn everyone about my early Nova thoughts. It looks like Nardi will be hurt for this game.

McNeal is also out for Marquette, no?

Thanks for the reminder TM. I am not as worried because Marquette has won against some good competition without Mc Neal. Still, it should be a factor in anyone's decision tomorrow.

I LOVE these two early games:

BC -2 againt Texas Tech

Texas Tech did have some nice wins early this year. Everyone seems to use Arkansas and Illinois for the poster boys of "how did they get in". I think TT is a better example. They have not played well at all over the second half of the season. They have not played well on the road. BC rebounded well after the mid season suspensions. They have senior leadership and tend to play tough. 2 seems awfully low.

Louisville -5.5 against Stanford

The hottest team in the tournament against the coldest team in the tournament. Stanford does have the ability to upset, but I don't think they will get it done here. Pittino has incredible experience in getting players ready for these games. He has young talent, but they will be ready.

Marquette +2 against Michigan State

I'm going to stick with this play

Andy: I'm known to locate certain things from time to time. What if it was a toothbrush? I wouldn't ask questions. I'd just quote a price. But then, a toothbrush is a non-lethal object, isn't it?

Waiting has its rewards. Should be a grinder. Lot of points for a game in the 50s. Woods is capable of carrying Wright to the wire.

3-2 here THursday

Friday
Albany-Virginia over 135
Albany’s pace and shot totals increased significantly when they played uptempo teams outside their slow-paced conference. Virginia is in the top 80 for tempo and I expect Albany to play closer to the Cavs’ pace than Albany's average. Both offenses are better than the defenses.

I will also be on Creighton at +2 or better. Going to wait and see if there is some Nevada love in the morning.

Already on Zona-Purdue over 136. Wouldn't endorse it at 138...not because I don't think it would be a winner at that #, but because I don't like making plays after losing 2 points.
