Had a great run two years ago. I was horrible last year. Let's see how this goes: Tampa Bay +170 at Yankees Scott Kazmir is a true ace. The Yankee lineup is unbelievably tough but pitching has the advantage in the cold Toronto -110 at Detroit I am a believer in the the Tigers. However, I am also the biggest of Halladay fans. When he is not hurt I think he is 1-2 with Santana as the best in the AL. |

Yankees ML Kazmir threw 16 IP in spring training, and while he's going to be very good, he wasn't a great road pitcher in the past. I expect TB to keep a close eye on him today, and if the Yankees are in a close game I like their bullpen to hold TB's talented lineup down today, and win a close one. Carl Pavanon does make me nervous, and you have to wonder what the Yankees are spending their money on when he's pitching opening day, but he did have a solid spring training from the reports I have read, and he's gotta be pitching with a chip on his shoulder. |

1-2 White Sox in a pick'em with Cleveland A's -120 at Mariners Angels -160 against Texas Santana is a staff ace when he pitches at home. I think Mc Carthy will do fine but you have to take Santana when you get the opportunity to have him at home. |

I'm a situational baseball guy. Just once in a while when something catches my eye. Had a bet today, but took it down and bought back the other side. |

Also, how does the line effect your units bet? Do you use the same unit regardless of the line? Arizona on the money line, meaning they just have to win by one, is -136. But they are +120 to win by more than one and a half. They have to win by two, so I get better odds. I think with Webb pitching against an awful Washington team, a 2 point win is certainly possible. The units played are just gut feelings on the strength of the play. 3* means I really like Arizona -1.5 |
