Northwestern +1.5 at Purdue like taking candy from a baby. Purdue getting way to much love for going from dreadful to mediocre. Meanwhile Northwestern is always a good play as a dog. Wish I got it at the better number earlier but the fitzgeralds will be winning this straight up |

The last 2 years in their 1st 2 games NU is 0-4 ATS and 1-3 outright--against mid-major teams. That probably explains the line. God damn I love Phil Steele. Still going strong. |

DannyB makes a very logical case. The Cats always seem to struggle against bums early. But this is a must win for them, as weird as that sounds, so I'd still guess they'll win outright. |

NU had a hard time with Purdue last year, and Purdue had several upsets. They have two QBs with experience, too. |

Damn near beat Louisville (right?). One of those qbs (can't remember which) can throw the ball. Let's hope Brohm is the new Joe Tiller. |

Let's continue with the dogs Army +14 at Duke I think this line reflects the general publics lack of awareness of the strides the Army program has taken over the last couple of years. They are now what Navy was when they just started to be good. Look to play them in dog situations all year |
