Del Mar opens Friday. Any thoughts? It takes all my energy to focus on one meet at a time, and I just don't know west coast horses/trainers/owners enough.

I expect Out of Balance to break his maiden in the 9th race on Saturday.

Crosby Stakes today Race 7.

I like #11 Last Promise Kept. Drayden Van Dyke will pounce in the stretch.

Saturday 5th Race: Colonial Creed may grab an easy lead in there and go gate to wire. But I'm looking at Mercy Mercy who had a very eventful trip last out and big longshot Bellazano who definitely wanted more distance than she had last time and now gets it.

If that horse doesn't come in, he'll probably put me on ignore, anyway. :D

spmack, I've been lurking here for a decade. I ignore no one.

And how about I throw this out there...Race 4-Montana Moon...Malibu Moon does well with first timers.

And now it's 8.

Here's one more for you guys. In the 5th at Woodbine, the 5 horse, Cool Gizmo has been slowly improving and he's been dying to cover more ground. Stretching him out to a buck sixteenth tomorrow. Maybe worth watching.

This is so tempting, I'm going to be in San Diego the weekend after this, but I wasn't going to have a car. One of my bucket list items is to visit all the great American race tracks.

But the 17th is the "Derby Days Wine Festival" which sounds like a massive clusterfuck.

G1 Clark Handicap later today at Churchill. Looks like it will be between Bravazo and Seeking the Soul.

I'm looking at something that wasn't pointed for the BC. Maybe Hawaakom. I think Hence is in great shape but he's just so pace dependent.

Ol' Delmar:

4th- Brioso
6th- Chicago Style
7th- Cassie Belle
8th- Arctic Roll

You're getting a good price on Hawaakom. He and Storm Advisory at 45-1. Storm Advisory rates fourth best in speed, but doesn't have a lot of class. He's coming off two wins.

The rest of the horses' odds are ROI negative.

Bravazo's my horse, so hard for me not to go with him, even at a short price of 2-1. I got him 3-1.

The track has a big front bias though. It seems like it will favor Prime Attraction or Leofric.

I'll go with Bravazo with the most class and front-end speed and Storm Advisory. Storm Advisory also has E1 speed, but is on the risky side. Price is right.
