Anyone have an opinion on who will win the TPC starting tomorrow? I'm leaning towards placing a wager on Tiger or Phil.

Yikes, smart money but very paid pay off will be with Woods. It's supposed to wet so stay away from short hitters. I'd wait to see what happens with conditions. It's an old course with brand new design so most guys haven't played it since this week. Not sure how anyone can handicap it other than Woods is very good so smart pick.

Tiger is +250. That's an awfully low payback for any golf tourney. Vijay and Phil are 12-1, but if you are going to bet before a tourney, I think picking top five or top ten finishes are better paybacks than buying win tickets. But there's no value in betting Tiger. But then, after he wins, somebody will claim there was no value in betting anyone else.

But I have taken a new approach to golf. I prefer waiting until Sunday and will buy 1 or more contenders through live betting on WSEX. I'll likely get somebody within two shots early on Sunday at 20-1 or higher.

Not a bad call on the Sunday deal. If Woods is in the lead though on Sunday, keep the money in your pocket.
