Only half way through, but I think Chris Block has a couple of live ones...R-6 the 8-Into Humor as well as a 2yo that scratched into race 10 the 15-Fate Factor...loved her last race at AP...

Not there yet, but I would tend to agree Walt, 6 panels isn't what this horse wants...should be some vulnerable favorites...in R-4 Stella d'ora will be bet down, accordingly, but could leave some value for the 6-Herecomesyourman (Pixies, right?)

Gotta play catch up but 1st day off in along while...looking forward to it...let's go grab some cash

I think 7 is probably his ideal distance, but you know one thing, he's going be coming. The horse has a heart the size of a whale.

Late pick 4, even though you didn’t ask, and I’ve not done well here today. Nonetheless,

R7-The 6-Craft Woods is the logical favorite coming out of the higher level race and doing well…gets Jose Ortiz…10-Inveterate finished third at this distance at Bel against a salty group…and the 9-Snaffle who I hope floats up off the m/l of 6/1…super sharp bullet WO last week and gets Leparoux in the saddle$$$

R8-Lots of speed here…I agree with the sentiment of JORR that the 8-Hog Creek Hustle will be coming late (he won a lot of money for me early this year) just afraid he’s going to run out of space at 6f…really like the4-Recruiting Ready as well as the 8-Engage at a hefty price…the 7- Promises Fulfilled makes sense too..all in all a very difficult race to handicap

R9-I think this comes down to two horses…the 7-Perfect Alibi won two straight Graded stakes races at Saratoga, not easy to do..I also like the 4-Alandra…Shug McGaughey doesn’t rush horses, but this one is more than ready

R9-Tricky with the 2YO but I loved my girl the 15-Fate Factors last race. It was her debut and she ran like a five year old. Closed against glacier fractions, got stopped in the stretch on the rail and still finished second..Mark Casse’s horse drew in as well and look for the 16-Lucky Polly to finish ITM.

Good luck.

Shadwell Mile....March to the Arch won for me before ….loves the Kentucky air!

I think Major Cabbie has a good chance to wire the field in the 3rd at a decent price.

In the Futurity, I'll go with Tap It to Win, maybe Enforceable, too, with Geroux.

Bandua in the Shadwell Mile.

In the Hill Prince at BEL, Digital Age.

Post subject:  Re: Keeneland

These prices at Keeneland are terrible. Only two horses in the 3rd being priced better than fair value. The rest are negative.

If you want to get ripped off, play Keeneland!

GUEST SUITE 16%
MALIBU MAX 8%
MAJOR CABBIE -11%
SOLOMINI -11%
ALTITO -17%
THIRD DAY -18%
KURILOV -31%
PORTAL -43%
FLIGHT TIME -97%

You would do better with NFL picks against the spread. You can get better prices there.

Post subject:  Re: Keeneland

Major Cabbie at 10-1 on the M/L goes off at 3-1. Equates to a -40% expected ROI.

You cannot win with that kind of pricing.

JORR is a whale, that's the problem. (Nice call).

The takeout there is quite large.

Post subject:  Re: Keeneland

Ortiz Jr. couldn't have ridden Digital Age worse. He held the horse back the whole race, fighting him the entire time, and then it was too late when he had running room. Yeah, you have to be a little more forwardly placed to win, Irad. It's a turf race!

I had Neptune's Storm, too, but cancelled it. Nothing but aggravation.

I'm going with Ajaaweed in the Futurity. Maybe try to catch a gimmick with January Won or Enforceable on the back.

I had him as well. Maxwell crushed the field with that big LP. Should have known.

Not my best day, when these races haven't been that hard to handicap.

Sunday-

Enable lost so maybe the big one's can go down today. Thinking R9...the 4-She's a Julie upsets the field by going wire to wire.

R10-the 10-Hallawallah should be the one to beat but I very much like the 2-Summer Delivery as well as the pedigree influence for Kee on the 6-Wild Moment

Final weekend for Keeneland, but with the rain expected tomorrow this might be the last good day of racing (before the Breeders Cup next weekend, but that’s another topic).

Couple thoughts on today’s early Pick 4

Race 3-Horses running back a 2nd time during a short Kee meet have had tremendous success. I think the 4-Peekachoo is the horse to beat, but keep an eye on the other runbacks, including the 1-Mark My Way, the 3-LT. Col. (who might be the favorite) and especially the 7-Slick as Ice who will be a huge price

Race 4-MC 50K…The 1-Artemus Eagle was trained initially by Chad Brown now in the hands of Mike Maker. The 9-American Joey is also a runback here at Kee and deserves some consideration.

Race 5-Although an absolute lack of early pace will be a burden, I look for MY GIRL 9-Fate Factor to handle this field. She has shown great tenacity in her first two trips, neither one of them clean. Underneath and perhaps on my ticket in this race would be the 5-Powder River trained by Norm Casse, the 3-Leah Chase coming from Belmont and luring J. Leparoux, the 10-Ella Brima also from New York, and the 11-Busby Spring (m/l 30/1) ridden by Sophie Doyle who seemingly always beats her odds

Americain Joey is an oddity. Owner/Trainer/Jockey combo. He was large last time out. I made it a point to watch because this goof was riding himself. If he clears to the lead here he should be gone.

What's the word today, Walt?

Maximum Security back in action today at Belmont in the Bold Ruler at 7f. I have him at even odds. I think only Diamond King or Prince Lucky can beat him, but neither is better than 8-1.

The English Channel in the 5th at BEL is the more interesting race. You could get lucky on Power Player at 10-1 or Call Me Harry at 8-1. Front Run the Fed has been solid.
