Initially when I first looked at the PP's the the 3-Diamond Oops jumped off the page as a viable alternative to Omaha Beach. His 5 for 6 at Gulfstream jumped off the page and Leparoux is very good in dirt routes. But I am really doubtful that this horse wants this distance. I ended up on 2-Tax, banking on the idea that he has had the most success at this distance. He gets Irad Ortiz in the saddle and should be finishing strongest of all.

Still working on the card, but the 11th Pegasus Turf should be a quite a contest. I'm leaning towards Mo Forza. Pete Miller using Rosario in Graded stakes over the last 5 years-53 starts winning at 21%. But there are many others, Sadler Joy, Admission Office..and if magic Wand shows up with her A Game it may be over early...Zulu Alpha is one of my all time favorites. A lot to like here.

JORR, Rube, Walt...Let's go, let's get this thread going.

There were two 100 year old men at the Rewards machine getting their coupons for free programs. They were struggling to log in and it was taking them forever. My friend and I were waiting for them to finish. My friend looked at me and said, "There's our future."

Anyway, I think Magic Wand will be very tough in the Turf. I'll likely be going with Tax on the Dirt, but Mucho Gusto is a possibility. Race time decision based on price.

First things first. Let's get this party started right. I'm firing on 7-Restructure. 7 with 1, 10 exactas.

I think it will be between Higher Power and War Story in the dirt race. After the scratches, I doubt you will see any value in Higher Power. Therefore, War Story looks like the pick to click today.

Mr. Freeze or Bodexpress for third.

Nothing pisses me off more than instead of laying off the race.. bet against the favorite, he loses but so does your pick

Chalks not doing very well today. Tough finding the winners at GP.

No reason to have taken Phat Man in the 7th. That mule wasn't even getting fair value.

Guess some people knew something for it to be 6-1.

Had Spooky Channel to place. Didn't want to be greedy going for the win.

My one good play today. :)

Turf race is up for grabs. The market has no idea.

They let Baffert get away with murder.

What was Rosario doing with War Story so far back? Forced him to go 8 wide around the far turn to get clear. Closed great, but too late.

I had War Story in the 2 and Mr. Freeze in the 3, but no Mucho Gusto in the 1.

You think?

We were having a discussion at Arlington today about when the last time each of us felt good about a Baffert. For me it was Bayern in the BC when he wiped out half the field leaving the gate and they left his number up. And that was only because I had $200 to Win on him at 6/1.
