Is it all Epicenter on Saturday or can a newcomer like Early Voting take the black eyed susan's?

I am 100% against Epicenter. He got cakewalked to what should have been an easy win in the Derby and he couldn't finish it.

To me it comes down to whether Epicenter hooks up with Early Voting. If not, I think Early Voting wires the field. If Epicenter tries to press it could set up for the Saffie horse or Simplification.

Simplification is the wild card. If he pushes the pace, maybe Epicenter can sit and win. I think that would be a bad strategy for Simplification though.

I don't like her here. She's as honest as they come and I think she'll throw that sustained middle move like she always does but I suspect it will turn out like it did the last time she faced colts and she won't just be able to bury the field the way she does against the fillies.

And the heat. My God the heat.

That might benefit Simp.

If Simp was that much of a closer he would have cashed two weeks ago, I just don't think he's that much of a closer. Got a piece because he was ridden well and got into a positive position but didn't make up any ground on the leader over the last 1/4.

I just can't get behind him.

I think he's a pretty solid horse but just a step behind the best ones. I could see a scenario where he wins this race, but a lot would have to go right for him.

Creative Minister could pull off the upset. His last 1 1/16 mi. time two weeks ago at CD was pretty good. Made big improvement between 2nd and 3rd starts. Seems like a nice horse.

I don't know why you would take Epicenter over Early Voting. The Kentucky Derby was not the fastest race (though it had the exciting finish) and Early Voting comes in well rested. Chad Brown has the high win percentage of all the trainers here. I liked Early Voting in the Wood and will stick with him here. JORR's horse, Mo Donegal, barely got me by a nose. He's a son of Gun Runner.

day off so ill be playing Pilmico today..Rube, if you like Gun Runners offspring look at the 11-Radio Days in the Black Eyed Susan...that race is going to have a wicked pace and I like her to come rolling late...Impressive 2nd at Keeneland last out...nice price, too

Here's what I don't like about Creative Minister - coming off Lasix for this race.

Maybe I'm an old BDH but I never like the idea of a horse coming off Lasix because for some reason they don't racemas well.

any thoughts on BES Day other than Bobby Flays horse being the lock of the day

Let's talk about Flay's horse. If she is so great why is she in this spot rather than a graded stakes? I am against her. Her figures don't stand out over this field. She'll probably be 1/5 and I think she's a really bad 1/5 shot.

I think the Murph has a big shot to wire that field and Vergara has a chance to win too.

The horse you guys are talking about 4-Pizza Bianca is, I believe, headed to Ascot, thus the placement. I think she's going to be hard to beat, but will have the 8-Vergara and the 1-Determined Gold as well.

By the way, stay the fuck away from the Pick four at this place...takeout is over 25%...Pick 5 is half of that

Statistically, from what I've gathered

Maker is strong at this track during this week, as is Javier Castellano in the irons...and Curlin's bloodlines are ridiculously succesful here in Maryland

Next Race race 4...4-Majestic Frontier out of Keen Ice (Curlin) currently sitting at 17-1...let's get started

Huge fan of the 11-Healing in the next race, but not at those odds...$3 WPS, PS and Show on both the 7-Johng and the 6-US Constitution (ridden by Castellano)

Meaning to comment on this ....you know the track takes 100% of my pick 4 and 5 bets
