I was thinking about signing up for FanDuel or Caesars since they are offering “no sweat first bet” bonuses of $1,000. (I already have a Bet Rivers account.) My question is whether those bets apply to futures bets. Let’s say I bet $1,000 on today’s Cubs game and lose. Can I take the $1,000 “free” bet and place it on the Bears season win total? Alternatively, if I first place $1,000 of my own money on that Bears win total, and the bet loses (which will be determined in December) will I get the free bet at that time? I know there are time limits to placing the free bets but I don’t know if that means the outcome has to be decided by a certain time as well.

gotta read the fine print on those offers. but, to give you a heads up.... the most likely outcome is you lose 2 bets in a row.
