I tend to notice a common thing with your picks each week.

Not buying fully into the Jayden Daniels hype? Krisp Klingsbury offenses hold up until Halloween. It is a new month, maybe the every season Klingsbury offense / team does the collapse comes early this season. even happened last season with Caleb at USC. Caleb and Kliff started off 6-0, ? iirc, before skidding to a 7-5 regular season record last year @ USC.

I know Bo Nix is bad, although Nix is 20th in QBR somehow, while Caleb holds down the 29th position. But Denver's defense frfr and the freaking Raiders == clown show rn.

massive line given the Gints rest advantage (NYG played TNF last week, SEA lost to the Lions on MNF)

So long as Cowgirls score 20+

Fields career record (in games in which he plays) when the opponent scores 20+ points:

1-24

1-25 (after Sunday )

Thursday night 40-20 win @Washington a year ago, week before Fields got injured, his lone W when the opponent scores 20+.

Kirk Cousins transferred his prime-time pikachu sonichu whatever curse medallion to Derek Carr. Carr used to be good in prime-time (well, the Raiders had always been kings of MNF and Carr played mostly for the Raiders) Carr like 1-7 ATS in his last 8 prime time starts.

I hate this week's slate of games.

BALT -2.5 @ CINN
BUFF -1 @ HOU
IND @ JAX -3
MIA - 108 @ NE
ARIZ @ SF -7
LV @ DEN -2.5
GB -3 @ RAMS
NYG @ SEA -6.5
DAL +2.5 @ PITT - other half of the horseshoe falls out of Tomlin's ass
NO + 5.5 @ KC

LAST WEEK 11-3-2....4-0-2
YEAR 33-26-3....8-3-2

We are fully into the “Bears fans are mad that other teams rookie QB’s are better than our own” phase.

The Browns have a good defense and I think there's an overcorrection on the line.

Rival and talent matters at some point.

I don't think the Packers are 6 points better. The Rams shorthanded offense was better than the final score last week and the Packers don't have a great defense.

The Giants also had a mini bye. Even with the rest advantage, I just like the Seahawks at home against Daniel Jones and a concussed Nabers.

The Cowgirls have a lot of injuries on defense, but I think their offense will make the necessary adjustments coming off a mini bye. I also don't think the Steelers defense is as great as it was the first 3 games. The Steelers lost their best offensive lineman and I trust Dak Cousins more than I trust Fields in a primetime game.

I don't think the Chiefs defense is good enough to stop the Saints from scoring. They aren't playing a quarterback with one leg this week. The Chiefs offense doesn't have the talent to win by nearly a touchdown. I doubt they can win.

The NFL has to let the Chiefs lose every so often to keep things appearing even.

"I don't think the Packers are 6 points better."

It's important to know it's 4.5 pts better, not 6.
I don't know why Chicago thinks they aren't that good. Because they are. One bad 3/4 of a half last week doesn't change that. Rams aren't just beat up. They are decimated.

Post subject:  Re: NFL Week 5

Why is it 4.5?

Outside of nearly catching the Vikings slipping during garbage time, the Packers haven't played well against a good team. Despite being "decimated," I think the Rams are coached well and will continue to build on their offensive adjustments. The questions are more with their run defense. I'm sure if a love note from Verse is something a healing Love wants. I can see the Rams winning this on offense.

I dunno. -6 is neutral field? So Packers would be -9 at home? If so, I'm on the Packers Sunday. The LA Artwork Stadium isn't worth a 6 point swing from GB.

Rams almost gave me a heart attack. I took the GB-3 and then at half I took the moneyline +120. I had no worries right up until 6 minutes left in the 4th.

This fucking McVay sure does know how to manage a game. What a prick.

Oh well, they lost.
