Let's get this thing started. Football every day this week.

Central Michigan -2.5 at Western Michigan

I really do not like taking road faves on a weeknight. However, I think CMU is the superior team by a lot. CMU been berry, berry good to me.

Ohio -3 at Akron

I know, another road favorite on a weeknight. Let's just call this bizarro pick week. Both teams are playing their 3rd game in 12 days so a lot will depend on stamina in the second half. Akron is banged up on D and Ohio has the kind of pounding running game that is designed to wear down opponents in the second half. On offense Akron has two QB's who have been equally bad. While they have quality receivers, I don't think their QB's are talented enough to get them the ball. This might be close early but I see it being a big win by Ohio in the second half.

OK so it wasn't by 2 touchdowns and it took an inconclusive replay call to win the game but they won. I hope everyone won as much as i did last night. Good day!

Louisville and West Virginia over 64- I see this game being a scorefest, Louisville can score over 20 points and can't stop anybody so WVU should put up about 40, so I love the over.

West Virginia -16.5

A high-scoring affair in which Louisville ceases to keep pace after the 1st half. Mountaineers roll at home.

Dallas Cowboys -1

Cowboy defense should outplay its counterpart and I fear Manning may not show up for yet another big game.

Colts -3 1/2

Indy just does not lose two in a row and they'll manage enough points to cover easily.

Detroit Lions +1 1/2

Detroit is for real and they prove it by winning a tough road game.

Kent State and NIU Over 48 1/2

Just to make sure you're paying attention. . .

Ohio State -15

At home I can't see the Buckeyes allowing a close game.

Ladies and gentlemen, get your pencil and scorecards ready and I will announce the losers for this week's games  :

Purdue -4.5 over Michigan State
I'm going with the Boilermakers at home.

Kentucky -3.5 over Vanderbilt
I went against Vandy last week some I'm going against them again this week.

Notre Dame +3.5 against Air Force
I'm going on a limb and saying Notre Dame can't go 1 - 8 (or they can but will still cover).

Ohio State -15 over Illinois
It hurts me to do it, but this is the lowest I've seen it.

Bears -3 over Oakland
I'm going with my heart and my head on this one. I believe the Bears win big.

Arizona / Detroit over 45
Lots of offense in this one.

Notre Dame is already 1-8. Just making sure you don't short change them.

Purdue - 4.5
-Purdue rolls on senior day. MSU is still worried about what Mike Hart said.

Bama -4.5 @ Mississippi St....Tide should roll Miss. St. over rated.

Wake @ Clemson O/U 51
OVER - Clemson should win 30-27

Illinois + 15 @ THE OSU
Orginally didn't know which way to go...(Thanks Darren!!)

College Football Picks

Indiana -2 1/2 over Northwestern Indiana needs another win to solidify a bowl spot. Northwestern is nothing special at home, even losing to Duke at home.

Wisconsin +2 1/2 over Michigan Don't look past the Badgers at Camp Randall. Michigan OSU is just around the corner. Can you say trap game.

Kentucky -3 1/2 over Vandy Look for Andre Woodson and the Kentucky Wildcats to bounce back after two tough losses to FLA and Miss. st. Kentucky wins big.

Florida -7 over South Carolina Tebow drops the hammer on the old ball coach.

Arkansas a pick over Tennesee- Mcfadden is playing well right now with a chance to still win the heisman and I want to see Georgia in the SEC title game.

Michigan State +4 vs Purdue- I will be there rooting for Sparty, everything says Purdue with the recent Spartan losses, but this is why they play the game.

Georgia -2 vs Auburn- I hope Georgia wins this game with Tennsesee playing a tough game, Moreno is starting to play like a first team SEC player and Stafford is playing well, hopefully the Bulldogs take care of the Tigers.

California +4 vs USC- Cal got off the losing streak by winning last week, USC is not playing that well this year, Cal knows they can beat them and does it tommorow night.

Sat CFB

North Carolina +3.5 over NC St

Dog is 8-1 ATS and NC St is 2-12 ATS as a home fav. NC St has played better the last four weeks but those were all as dogs. Now they are the fav.

Iowa -14.5 over Minny

Iowa needs it bad, Minny is playing bad. I think Iowa O will do enough to cover this #. Iowa 7-0 ATS at home against Minny.

Colorado St +9 over New Mexico

Dog has covered last seven.

Utah -13 over Wyoming

Home team has covered last six.

Florida St +7 over VT

VT hasnt covered at home this year. Fl St as a dog 6-1 ATS.

Missouri -19 over Tex AM

Missouri has only not covered once this year. AM on the road not too good. Last home game for Mizzou, I think they win by 28+.

San Jose St -3.5 over New Mex St

New Mex St not a good road team while SJ St is 9-1 ATS at home.

Sat Nite

Oreg St -4 over Washington

Last home game for Oreg St. I think they get it easy. 7-2 ATS in home finales, and covered the last 3 vs Wash.

South Carolina +7 over Florida

Should be wild in SC tonite. Fla title hopes are gone while this is SC's GOY.

Virg +4 over Mia FL

Virg plays alot of close games. Last game for Miami in this stadium. I will take the better team getting 4.

Under 48 SdSt/Unlv

The most pts scored the last 3 times these two have played was 28.

From WSEX

NFL

Raiders +3.5 vs Bears

Bears poor run defense does them in. Will Rex see the field?

Bengals +3.5 @ Baltimore

Bengals find enough defense to hold off the Ravens.

Vikings +6 @ Green Bay

Vikings defense keeps this one close. Pack finds a way to win late.

Jags +4.5 @ Titans

Should be a low scoring affair, enough so to let the Jags hang in there.

Browns +10 @ Steelers

Should be a high scoring game, this is too many points to ignore.
