You have to like Memphis. Reminds me of old UNLV teams. Multiple NBA guys on one team.

I give Bill Self credit for a great game plan v UNC, just seems that the talent of memphis can beat you ate your own game.

Either way, I hope to see a great dunking game as UCLA is done.

Bought UCLA at $19 early in October, paid out at $25 a share this year. Long time to hold

Sorry to be so late. Busy day. I have half a regular play on Kansas +2. KU will (hopefully) zone Memphis and Memphis isn't nearly as efficient in the half court. Now you would think that KU will run with Memphis, and they certainly will when the opportunity presents itself, but KU is a very good half court defense. I had been saying all year that Augustin was the best point guard in the nation. I was wrong, Derrick Rose is. But KU should have the best chance of defending him of any team that Memphis has faced in this tourney.

I have had KU 1 point higher than Memphis on my power ratings since March 1, but Memphis has looked like the best team so far and this game is really too close to call. I normally don't change my power ratings though just based on what the teams do in March. But I'd make this game KU -1 or pick at most. So you know me, I'll take a little value as I find it. I think Memphis has the best two players in this game and that's normally enough reason for a play. But KU is more balanced inside and out. And they shoot FTs better. Will that be the TIgers' death knell tonight? If it wasn't the national championship game, I probably wouldn't play it at all. So I'm playing KU for a half the normal play.

I lean to this game OVER, but since I think KU will try to zone Memphis, that might slow the game down a bit. After watching the first half, we might have a better angle on a total at halftime for the second half.

1/2 unit on Kansas +2; no bet on total. check back at half for a possible 2h play.

Thanks for the knowledge, Coast. I took Memphis, but I put it in Saturday night when it was first posted as a PK.

I don't see any reason to make a halftime play. I like my KU +2 play.

If you Memphis players still like Memphis though, you could add on to your bet by taking Memphis -2 for the 2nd half, which would give you some Memphis +3 for the game. KU held them to 39% shooting first half. And KU has taken Rose somewhat out of his game. I'd look for Cal to figure out how to get Rose the ball and make plays.

over 77 is tempting, but I'll pass. The pace was grinder pace, but I expect it to pick up a bit.

What a choke. Thought they said they would hit free throws when they count. WYC.

Your words made me rethink my position. I logged on at a couple of other places to look for any compelling arguments for Kansas. I was convinced, and got the win, thanks in part to Coast.

Still that game and cover should have gone to Memphis.

I agree Memphis should have won that game. I'd rather be lucky than good. And that certainly was lucky.

John Calipari showed again that he is a great recruiter. His game management skills left a lot to be desired. That loss is on him. He had a timeout he could have called with 10 seconds left and made it clear to his team that they must foul right after the ball came across midcourt. No way you let a kid get off a three pointer to tie a game. He had brain lock at a key moment. It cost his team the W.

Yes, the missed free throws made that possible, but even so, if they foul KU up three with 5 seconds or so, their chances of winning in regulation are very high.
