* The big news is that Smooth air might not run. He spiked a fever before his scheduled work and is being treated with antibiotics. If he's not right, the trainer has stated he will not run the horse. * Monba and Cowboy Cal worked yesterday for Pletcher. Both worked at Keeneland. Monba breezed five furlongs in 1:02 2/5 while Cowboy Cal went out five furlongs in a good 1:00. The other Pletcher trainee, Behindatthebar is still undecided if he will run after galloping a mile and a sixteenth yesterday. A decision will be made early this week. *Trainer Paula Lobo and jockey Mike Smith flew into Louisville to work out Gayego. He worked five furlongs in 1:01 over a muddy track. *Recapturetheglory breezed five furlongs in 1:01 1/5 at Churchill Downs Friday. He was scheduled to go Saturday originally but they wanted it over a fast track. |

I'm crossing all the Keeneland winners off my list (Cowboy Cal, Monba, Behindthebar) as I don't think any of them have enough. |

I'd caution against crossing Behindatthebar off your list. He won from way off the pace in the Lexington and his first dirt start wasn't that horrible. He's made a move forward in terms of speed and looks like he could run all day. |
