Let's try a little something different. Everyone has posted his strong plays in the other threads. Let's hear the one game you would play if you absolutely needed a winner. Take one college and one NFL. Navy +5.5 against Rutgers Navy is at home. Their top QB is finally back with a game under his belt. The running game flourished while he was away. Now they take his understudy and make him a flanker, which should only make them better. Rutgers has been unbelievably overrated all year and it continues here. I really would consider this game even if the middies were GIVING points. Browns +2.5 at Ravens The Brown offense of last year is not simply a mirage. Week 2 they played in an Ike induced storm. Week 1 they were pressing all day playing catchup to the Cowboys. There will be no such pressure this week. I think they pound the Ravens. |

Play of the week. Tampa Bay +3 @ Bears (35) Lowest total on the board. New QB for TB, but who knows how long that will last. Game could be scoreless tie at the half. At least the weather will be favorable for watching the field get chewed up real good. Robbie Gould=hero, but the Bear won't cover. |

Which team: > was outrushed in each of its first two games, both as favorites... > has lost its center and is really struggling to run the ball... > has defensive issues as it is not getting much pressure on the passer nor stopping the run, and > needed a month's worth of luck in a big comeback to win last week? My best play of the week is going against that team. jax +5 @ Indy |

My best play of the week is going against that team. jax +5 @ Indy Love that play. The defense without Bob Sanders is pedestrian. Jacksonville needs a blow up game. Here it is. |

Anybody notice the unbelievable success of this thread. It went 5-1 with THREE dogs who were straight up winners. Also, at large contradicting me saved me some frustration and I moved that money over to Coast's well thought out suggestion. |
