Their winning formula was wholly out of character with the team from what it did the entire regular season. They ran the ball and played good D. They also played against an NFC South team who was on the road. This time the south team is at home. They don't lose at home. The line leaves some room for error for Cardinal backers, but I just don't see it. Carolina is going to run, run and run some more and I don't think the Cardinals have the DL strenght to stop them. Eagles +4 at Giants Rivalry game where the teams not only split the season series, the numbers after the two games are almost identical. I put this line at three and I have seen nothing that would change that opinion. Steelers -6 against Chargers Steelers dominated the last game statistically and would have covered the line if not for one of the most egregious blunders by an official this season. Chargers come into this one in worse shape then before and the Steelers are coming off a week of rest. Six seems like a crazy number to me, especially given the Steelers offensive problems, but that number has stuck. Darren Sproles isn't going to have the type of game he had against the Colts and he was really the only reason the Chargers are playing on Sunday. |

Just as an aside the public is playing the road dogs for Saturday with an almost even split on the Sunday games: Ravens 56% Cardinals 59% Eagles 50% Chargers 51% This makes me feel better about my Saturday plays, especially the Panthers. |

I've loved the Panthers since the line came out. That's my favorite play of the week. I am actually shocked it went down to -9.5 in some sports books. I would have thought the gamblers would have hit the Panthers hard. I thought it would have gone up to 12.5 or 13 by kick off. I would suggest if you like the Panthers and can get it at 9.5, put it in now. I don't need to explain the huge difference between 9.5 and 10 to you guys. |

It is also a day when it is nice to have a big underdog on the moneyline. Go Cardinals I like the Giants to cover and the second game between the Chargers and Steelers will be the tough pick, but I would say take the points with the Chargers. |

Nas, you'll be happy to know I took the Cardinals +10 an hour before gametime on Saturday night. That had to be the least worrisome bet I've ever made. I wish I had put more down on it. |
