Enjoy the horse chatter out here. I have been meaning to
make it to Arlington for years. I think I will actually do it this
year. I just love to see them run while I bet and drink. Keep up
the good work gentlemen. Also, when perusing the program what
stats do you find to be most influencial on your betting? Wins?
Where they ran? Times? I'd be interested to know.

I'm primarily a speed rating guy as a first step. I'll knock out anyone that has no chance of hitting the appropriate time for this race. Surface changes are a big deal now at Arlington with the polytrack. It's tough to say which one factor is determinative but, in the perfect world, I'd find a turf or poly horse with some tactical early speed and who's recent speed ratings are competitive, but not top in the field. I also try to avoid outside horses on short routes as a matter of course.
