I purchased the Pointwise service. They only have one "Top play" today. They rate them 1-6 with one being the best play. Last year they were good with their "Rated 1" plays in the tourney. They don't give a lot of them. Coast likes it too so that gives me more confidence.

Rated 1: Washington -6 (4pm start time)

hope you guys got on my 3***. I may not have another. Covered that biatch even though chatt scored only 5 points in a 15 minute stretch.

Washington is a classic wise guys play Beardown. Everybody is surely saying the same thing in that game. I liked it right away and I'm actually disappointed that so many other people saw what I saw. Lost the line value.

I was on it Coast. Thanks. Pretty awful day record-wise for me but with the play and some halftime winners I'm still grinding out a profit.

Fucking 'Nova. Could of got the push once they got up 15, but gave up 2 easy lay ups. Then decide to sit on it the last 15 seconds.

Christ. That Gonzaga game should have been a cover. Instead I get a push. 1-2-1 in the 3rd wave. Still up. Let's get a 4-0 sweep to close the day.

At least you got a push, I ended up losing by the hook. Should be 2-0, but looking at 0-2. Lets go Western Kentucky.

Pointwise NCAA Tourney Record: 9-6-1

I'll figure out their units tomorrow but it's pretty good. They hit their one and only "1 rated" play (Washington) with this record. They didn't have any "2 rated" plays.

I'll post their picks tomorrow.

Pointwise Friday Afternoon Picks

Rated 6: Pittsburgh
Rated 6: Oklahoma State W

Friday plays with a few additions
USC -2 vs. BC, 1* W
Arizona- Utah over 134.5, 1/2* W
North Dakota State +10 vs. Kansas, 1* Push
Utah State +4.5 vs. Marquette, 1/2* W
Utah State +5 vs. Marquette, 1/2* W
Oklahoma State +2 vs. Tennessee, 1* W

Now have full units on USC, ND St and USU.
More to come, maybe. Gotta believe I can find another total or two that will cash.

Upset special: Double digit dog that just might get er done: North Dakota State. I'm not predicting an outright win nor putting more than one unit on them, and I recognize the odds of them winning outright are long, but something tells me they are going to scare the beejezus out of KU. They are a team of seniors from a nobody school nobody has ever seen play or bet on vs. a bunch of young guys from a top team. Classic kind of tourney matchup that begets upsets.

It's an NIT, not NCAA play tonight:
Tulsa-Auburn under 131, 1* W

Added another 1/2 unit on:
Utah-Arizona over 134, 1/2*, W giving me 1* on this total.

If you're interested, stay tuned for halftime plays. I'll be firing all day.

I will be watching the Mizzou/Cornell game closely. I think Mizzou will wear them out in the second half.

Just to let you know, for the NCAA, NIT and CBI, Pointwise is +23 units. They've been great.

Utah hurts. They just couldn't knock down open 3 pointers all day. I think they were 7 for 30. 2-2 on point spreads.

Thanks, Coast, for the Utah/Arizona over. I've got your Auburn/Tulsa under as well. That's on pace to come in.

I thought you were gonna fire all day, Coast. I'd like some more totals.

I followed all three of your totals, Coast. Thanks for the bankroll boost.

12-1-1, +9.95 on Thurs and Friday.

Beardown, I was planning to fire on halftime plays in addition to the 6 plays today, but just didn't see anything worth playing. I only saw three totals I loved the last two days. Sorry I couldn't find more, but it's a long weekend. :D

..and stay tuned tonight. Cleve State is out on Wake, setting up for a possible halftime play on Wake.

Edit: nope. don't like the number wake -8 2h when down 9. i would have played -6.

Saturday morning eye-opener:
Baylor-Va Tech under 68, 1st half, 1* (NIT)
They are tipping this at 11 ET, an hour earlier than usual. Baylor has had several games this year in which they have started slow and had very ugly first halves. And I'm a sucker for the early saturday morning first half under. Bricks for breakfast.

Sat. NCAA (may add Sat)
Texas AM +10.5 vs. Conn 1/2*
Washington -1 vs. Purdoo, 1*
Gonzaga-W. Kentucky over 143.5, 1*
Duke-Texas under 139.5, 1/2*

Not a good night for Pointwise. 5-6 (-6.5 units)

Florida State was a tough loss. I was saved a little by Siena and Robert Morris. No way Robert Morris should have covered that 15.5. Coast's totals helped me. Still up for the day and for the Tourneys.

Pointwise Friday: 9-9-1 (+2 units)
Pointwise Total (NCAA, NIT, CBI, CI): +16.5 units

I am still drinking my coffee, and I am now 1-0.
