This weekly wagering contest will reward the best football prognosticator with a $100 gift certificate from a meat/steak company. New guys can still join in any time and you don't have to make a pick every week. Post them all at once or in separate posts, but they must be posted in the current week's contest thread. Post your plays any time, but they must be posted before a game you are playing kicks off. You must make your picks in this thread and you must provide at least one reason for each pick. Cent Fla -10 over Rice Cent Fla played Miami Fla last week, now a big drop in talent with Rice. Rice is rebuilding can't see them staying within 2 TD's. Air Force +9.5 over Utah Dog has covered 11 of last 12 in this series. Bost Coll +8.5 over Notre Dame (Oddsmaker) Gotta be a letdown for ND this week. |

From The Greek NCAA Maryland/Duke Under 56 Some offensive struggles for both sides. Illini/Purdue Under 55 Worse offensive struggles in this one. Washington +10 vs Oregon Huskies are tough at home. NFL Colts -13 1/2 @ Rams Colts will roll over the Rams. Packers -9 @ Browns Will Browns have enough healthy players for this one? Chiefs +4 1/2 vs Chargers Feels like a field goal game in KC. |

Pinnacle Sports Georgia Tech -5.5 vs Virginia- I have seen where the ACC teams are tough at home, but I think that Tech has it going and Virginia has wins againts IU and Maryland the last 2 weeks, stops here. Oklahoma State -9.5 vs Baylor- Ok. State makes a statement here before their big showdown with Texas, by putting it on Baylor. Kansas +7.5 vs Oklahoma- I think for the Jayhawks, you want to win division, go to title games, well you have this game at home and the team your playing is without it;s star quarterback, put the Colorado loss behind you, show up and get a nice upset win here. |

Penn State -4.5 @ Michigan - Still not convinced how good PSU is, but they seemed to have turned the corner on D and will give the freshman QB;s fits all day. W 1-0 this week. |

Week 8 Late Night Action Fresno State -23.5 at New Mexico State Bulldogs will cruise against another conference cupcake. Arizona State +7 at Stanford Sun Devil QB Sullivan will keep them within a TD. Boise State -24.5 at Hawaii Broncos D will help this one get out of hand quickly. |

Pinnacle sports Packers -9 vs Browns- I know the Browns play tough at home and the last couple of weeks, but I see the Packers scoring, scoring, and more scoring. Patriots -14.5 vs Buccanners- It may depend on the pitch, but the Patriots put up 59 last week in the snow, should be better weather, let's see what they do here. Texans -3 vs 49ers- If the Texans want to get this season going, couldn't do it against the Jaguars at home a couple of weeks ago, do it here and maybe go on a little streak here. Saints and DOlphins over 47.5- I see it being 24-20 in the fourth quarter, Saints lead, but the Dolphins at home have shown they can score late, let's see what they do here. Cardinals and Giants over 46- I think the Giants will want to rebound from last week, but do have injuries, that should help the Cardinals score too. |

9-0 in CFB the last 3 weeks. Now gotta get on a roll in the NFL KC +6 over San Diego KC is 8-2 ATS at home vs SD. Something not right in SD. KC stays in this one. San Fran +3.5 over Houston SF had 2 weeks to think about their blowout loss to Atlanta. I like them to win SU. Under 37 Buf/Car 2nd string QB for Buffalo. Gotta think it gets even more conservative in Buffalo with coach Dick. |

Over 42.5 Chi/Cin Both teams should be able to reach the low 20's. Atlanta +5.5 over Dallas Line has jumped 2.5 pts. Atlanta hangs in this one. |
