While I don't think MJ or any presenter is expected or even allowed to say much, this will be interesting, because while I think MJ is the best athlete I have ever seen play a sport, I think Scottie might have been the best competition he could find.

I always felt MJ made Scottie into the great player he was by playing him 1 on 1 daily in practices and scrimmages. Not only in relation to the physical skills, but also the mental side of winning.

I got to watch some of these 1 on 1 matches after practice or during scrimmages, was just awesome watching MJ crossover, go for a dunk and Scottie come in and block it. NO other player in the league gets that done during their day. Lebron is one of the guys who has that ability to come back that quick and go for the block.

MJ would get out of the way when Scottie would fly in one handed.

Like refusing to enter a tie game with 1.8 seconds left mental side of winning?

Yes, like being the best player on the team and expecting to get the ball.

While everyone says Jordan was the fiercest guy ever to play the game, some might say he was the biggest baby to play the game and always wanted his way. That demanding persona is what got him to be the greatest and he never knew how to turn it and went after whatever he wanted.

Scottie, admitted he made a mistake in doing that, but he was reacting like he was taught.

1.8, the sure sign of meatball

Right, and not bringing it up at all while touting this extreme mental toughness side of winning that Jordan imparted to him is ok huh?
