Who do you like out there? Great Vintage is my guy in the 2 year old colt pace. Foreclosure N. is an interesting horse. A Southern hemisphere colt should be more mature. I'm not sure it matters this late in the season. My partners and I had a plan to train a group of Southern hemisphere colts with an eye on the early season stakes several years ago. We never did get it together though. My best BC finish was a huge second in the 2 year old fillies back in 2001. We should have won that one but she was all locked up on the inside.

That Great Vintage shows a huge one move on the halfs. I agree with Foreclosure - that last race is damn impressive at Freehold considering he may have to grind this one out too. I'll look at the other races on the card also.

1st race: You know what I hate more than trotters? 2 year old trotters. You never know if they will stay on stride. Blah.

2nd: some comments above but that Westwardho Haover has the looks of a nice horse. Good to see the Pinske name out there too. Excellent time over a 5/8's

6th: See You at the Peelers with get a ton of action and deserves it with her 11-11 mark. I actually think Pretty Katharine is a much better horse. Look out for Drop the Ball - what a qualifier last time out. 53 and change in a qualifier?

10th: Idyllic can show if she is a super horse. She can go 27 for an opener and still win but does have speed to her inside. Does she have enough to get to or near the top? Cold Mist has as much speed just to her inside. I'll go with Strike an Attitude with a possible 26 final quarter.

12th: I find the pace change for Lookin for Adventure to be something good for that horse. Hasn't seem to have had any racing luck (going 4 wide on the final turn at Mohawk ?) Maybe needs the front to take advatandge of the talent. if he leaves, likely to get to the front or right behind the leader.

I think Lookin For Adventure will be at the top of his game. In the Jug winner's circle Saunders mentioned that he hoped to be back next year with one just as good. Maybe he has one.

The New York filly might help you get as good a price as you're going to on Pretty Katharine.

Fashion Delight- absolutely awesome! Lookinforadventure got walked up to the lead on that last turn into wicked splits and lost ground in the stretch. Unreal.

I caught that 10th live and wondered what the hell Palone was doing. For a driver with so many wins in his life, he's a bad driver. As for Fashion Delight great race but he won that race in the 2nd quarter, brushing to the lead with a 29 and 1 second quarter. And that damn breaker in front of him didnt help lookinforadventure.

Yeah, Miller did get the job done in the second quarter. I'm going to have to watch it again, but I thought the race was pretty much over by the time that horse went off stride.
