Cam Ward could certainly get hot, and carry the Canes to the Eastern Finals. If that is the case, I could hedge the bet by taking their opponent. Stranger things have happened.

I don't know, I guess that's plausible if they make it to the playoffs, but that team got a lot younger up front and with it comes a lot more uncertainty, there is potential for a lot of bad. And also consider the improvements within the division. Both Tampa and Atlanta improved substantially and you already have to deal with Washington. I just don't see how they can make the playoffs, but there is also a chance that this young team can go Colorado on everyones asses, especially with Ward in net, but I don't think so.

But then again I'm not good with betting, so maybe it's a good number... But good luck regardless!
