Coming on the heels of the DC announcement, is this the end of online gaming or the dawning of a new era? http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/04/15/us-poker-fraud-idUSTRE73E6SF20110415 |

KDdidit wrote: You mean a gambling site might have illegal activities going on around it? Meet The Boy Genius Who Just Took Down The Online Poker Industry From the article... Unsettling... According to a source, Tzvetkoff "knows how to reverse-engineer transactions to determine its original source," making him very valuable to investigators. |

Will there be fall-out on the sports books? Will you continue to make electronic transfers of money to/from your accounts? Any chance that the players may become targets since it would seem simple enough to track all of the money transfers? Bottom line, is it safe to use these books? I get that it's not legal, but has this increased the risk to a point to where it's not worth it? |

Agree, actually took out a big chunk right after the NCAA tourney, left $100 in the account....and bet it on some long term Pujols HR wagers, printed it out...and closed the account on Bodog. The only difference is bodog uses foreign banks to process payments, thats what made these poker sites so foolish., |

Matchbook already shut down to US Customers, and I assume others will follow. I can't get my money out of FullTilt and PokerStars. They say that my money is safe, but I have no reason to believe that. |

Ever seen those cop shows where they lure in guys with arrest warrants with the YOU JUST WON A NEW TV coupon. |
