I know it's almost a week ago but finally got around to watching the replay but was impressed by Shackelford in defeat. He rated well in the race, was well in hand when he passed the leader and when challenged he came back at the winner. That's the type of race I can see a horse building on. Coil got a perfect trip with a better than average pace to run at and absolutely no traffic to deal with. |
