I didn't even know they ran these. Wont be betting much but my better half is watching The Bachelorette, so there's nothing better to do.

It's all about the break. They're off! You lose!

That's what it looks like! This is just crazy! :) I don't even know if I will manage to bet more than one... I think I would rather bet on a virtual coinflip on a corrupt casino website.

EDIT: Mountaneer still has 2 real races left thankfully.

Wagered on a Los Alamitos 300 yarder while at the Ho Chunk OTB last February and actually hit the exacta. Blind luck. It was bizarre to watch. One and done.

I hate quarter horses with a passion. In watching Los Alamitos, it always seems like there is not a lot of money to be made in them.

I did that once on some harness race a month or so after The Foundry got the OTB in there. Told my friends what you do is take all the horses better than 10-1 with the favorite with those same horses... said something where it would end up that I could just shove a $20 in the machine and not have to worry about a voucher for the inevitable miss. Hit for $200 or so. Paid the tab and looked like I knew what I was doing -- never have had any success with harness racing since.
