I'm probably not going to bet, but if Alternation and Nate's Mineshaft bang on each other a little, Cease might pick up the pieces at a decent price.

JORR and/or WWN, are the payouts pretty good at Hawthorne? Because I hit on a few Arlington Park races this year pretty nicely....I was sad to see their season end last Sunday.

Really? Ok....thanks! I will try to go out there soon....I'm not too far, coming from Forest Park....it's not far from my favorite Breakfast hole in the wall diner called Steak N Eggers on Ogden and Central.

If one of those other two grabs the lead unchallenged I can't see Cease catching him. I can easily see Nate's Mineshaft or Alternation wiring this field.

There's only one race, I think.

Glad I stayed away....I would have had Alternation in most, if not all of my bets and he came in last.

Hawthorne freaking blows. That track is so damn deep that horses on the lead dont stand a chance.

I didn't see the race. Is that what happened to Alternation?

I'm a little pissed because I went to lunch with the corporate folks today, and I didn't bet this one at Hawthorne today...

I was going to a .50 cent SF Box, and it hit, so I missed on $320 bucks....

Got soft fractions on the front (49 to the half and 1:13 to 3/4) and tired in the lane. That is typical Hawthorne crap.

Looking at the results of the race I just posted, it looks like the same thing happened to the horse who led thru most of the race in that one, too. Then again, he was a 40-1 and just tired in the end...but he still came in 3rd, not bad. If you were smart (lucky) enough to put $20 on him to show, that was good for nearly $100.
