As we prepare for the college hoops season, I thought I'd lead you to a source for great news and updates about college hoops. If you follow college buckets, you know already that you can't rely on the Chicago papers to give you much info outside the local teams and conferences. "Duke did not learn much about Jon Scheyer's ability to play point guard Thursday, but the Blue Devils saw how well he can shoot. Scheyer led the Blue Devils to a 96-45 exhibition basketball win over Shaw on Thursday night with a 19-point performance. The freshman from Illinois is filling in at the point while Duke sophomore Greg Paulus recovers from an injury to his left foot." Raleigh News and Observer |
