I'll link the Bris PP's when they become available. FLORIDA DERBY http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_viewe ... 2013-03-30 If the link doesn't work, give it some time. In the Florida Derby, I say bet the exacta hard on Shanghai Bobby and Itsmyluckyday. LOUISIANA DERBY http://www.brisnet.com/php/bw_pdf_viewe ... 2013-03-30 If the link doesn't work, give it some time. In the LA Derby, my first ever horse crush Revolutionary is back after the crazy trip in the Withers. I think I watch that race at least once a week. If he gets any kind of decent-to-good break, it's over. |

Thanks for posting those links. Those are a couple nice fields. If the Derby was this weekend Itsmyluckyday would be my horse. At Gulfstream, I like him even better. I think there are a couple horses in there that are going to ensure he's an overlay. I like Palace Malice in the other race. Who knows what that Departing thing is though. He could be any kind of horse. And of course, your guy, Revolutionary should be tough. One thing this points system is doing is forcing these guys to race to win in these preps rather than just using them to set their colts up for Louisville. |

http://www.brisnet.com/brisnet_promos/13DCS06.pdf The Dubai PP's are somewhere in the middle of that form. I don't know if I will bet that race. And when I said exacta on Bobby and "LuckyDay", of course I mean to exacta box them because I don't see any other horses competing with them. McPeek sounds really confident in Frac Daddy, and if he's 20-1 now, that means he might be 30-1 at post time, so that's always worth at least $5-10. |

If God had intended horses to run on rubber he would have put the Derby in Akron instead of Louisville. But I believe Animal Kingdom is a special horse. It can be difficult to tell with careers as small as they are these days, but what he has accomplished so far is pretty amazing. And what they're asking of him now is a tall order. But I think he's sitting on a giant race. |

I'm looking at the Louisiana Derby a little more and Palace Malice looks like he wants more distance. He should be good here. I originally dismissed Code West because I generally don't like a horse that took four cracks to break his maiden going at this level. But he looks like he relishes a route himself and he was fighting his ass off last out. I think the Risen Star is the key race for this one and I like both of those horses better than Revolutionary. |

Revolutionary was strong out there. Big race from Itsmyluckyday, but Orb just fucking exploded in the final eighth. Looks like Bobby and Code West are milers. |
